Happy St. Patricks Day Parade!!!!!
This morning since the hubbs had to go in to work for a few hours, I took a co-worker up on a invite. She invited me to come with her & her little boy to the Parade down in Five Points. I was so excited I love Parades and it was a great way to get out of the house for a bit.
The Parade was fun, we had a great time and loads of people watching. I think watching everyone around us and in the parade was the best part. I've been to much better before and more organized for sure. Kelly & I joked that next year we could simply hook a trailer up to our car and decorate it, call it a float and join in on the parade. (if that tells you anything about it)

The hubbs and I ended the evening with a company BBQ that we were invited to. Remember the wives I went to dinner with Wednesday night from Alpha Company....yup the BBQ was with them. We had a great time and everyone was so nice, it felt so normal like we have had many get togethers with them before.

ReplyDeleteSo glad you got to go to a parade! I also went to one in KY and it was about the same thing-- we were like really? These are floats?? Lol.
Also- I think the green body suit guy was a hit - there was one like him at our parade!
