<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After what has seemed like forever we were finally able to set a weekend aside to go camping. We had originally planned for Easter Weekend but with the unforeseen events of the Westy crapping out on us we had a little set back. The hubbs went away for training for a while and well now he's back. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Friday afternoon we loaded up and headed out to Land Between the Lakes (LBL) as soon as I got home from work. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm absolutely loving that it stays lighter out longer now. Spring / Summer weather please stay awhile won't you. We made it to our spot for the weekend at Piney Campground, set up and had time to relax and kick our feet up before the sun went down. It was a bit chilly that evening, which I wasn't expecting. Nothing that a little campfire and some S'mores couldn't cure. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XGBTn6vv3iw/VzNukUsEHHI/AAAAAAAAS98/FgrbHiRRSIUG1UnNv-_NvKBLGXzqhRnEQCLcB/s1600/IMG_3567.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="604" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XGBTn6vv3iw/VzNukUsEHHI/AAAAAAAAS98/FgrbHiRRSIUG1UnNv-_NvKBLGXzqhRnEQCLcB/s640/IMG_3567.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Waking up to the sounds of the birds chirping, the wind blowing and a chill in the air was absolutely the best. The pups were enjoying a relaxing morning laid out by the Westy while I was cooking up some breakfast. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ISEaBmh2LhA/VzNu1N88ZDI/AAAAAAAAS-E/Cy3grjrfx6MJ2xbq-Qr-A6uri6qVegLgQCLcB/s1600/IMG_3572.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ISEaBmh2LhA/VzNu1N88ZDI/AAAAAAAAS-E/Cy3grjrfx6MJ2xbq-Qr-A6uri6qVegLgQCLcB/s640/IMG_3572.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pancakes and Turkey Sausage was the perfect way to start our morning. I could really get used to this, sitting out on the picnic table enjoying our breakfast. Doesn't get much better than this. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bdbdhbdL6Z8/VzNuxCJFHeI/AAAAAAAAS-A/LvFG3WmShW4eHkEYg_dBWE8QRMYZDDEzACLcB/s1600/IMG_3580.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bdbdhbdL6Z8/VzNuxCJFHeI/AAAAAAAAS-A/LvFG3WmShW4eHkEYg_dBWE8QRMYZDDEzACLcB/s640/IMG_3580.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Our campsite was right near the boat dock with a little path leading across. After breakfast the pups and I took a little walk out to the pier while the hubbs met us there on his bike. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I could have sat there for ever just over looking the lake. </div>

We ended up going for a good 16 mile ride down to almost the other side of LBL and back to our campsite. Man where there some nasty hills we had to up and down along our ride. I managed though, not one time did I have to stop and rest. I pushed through, telling myself each time "just make it to the top". </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-l-6Vd3nARPU/VziLvNfh3fI/AAAAAAAATAQ/i0ML8Usp4P4EDbJOTTZofv32XYmIkZWBACLcB/s1600/IMG_3592%2B2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-l-6Vd3nARPU/VziLvNfh3fI/AAAAAAAATAQ/i0ML8Usp4P4EDbJOTTZofv32XYmIkZWBACLcB/s400/IMG_3592%2B2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After our ride, a nice little nap and some tasty lunch we sliced open some watermelon to cool down with. One of my favorite summer time fruits, it was just what I needed. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qV992YyfN1U/VziLtYifD_I/AAAAAAAATAM/EH3mSlfe59cfw6eOfd2YG3vWlYQoHzxtQCLcB/s1600/FullSizeRender%2B4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qV992YyfN1U/VziLtYifD_I/AAAAAAAATAM/EH3mSlfe59cfw6eOfd2YG3vWlYQoHzxtQCLcB/s400/FullSizeRender%2B4.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For dinner we did something a little different. Hobo Stew. I'd never had Hobo stew before and wasn't quite sure how it would turn out but I'm a believer. It was a perfect campfire dish. We chopped some </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
veggies, marinated bison rolled it all up in foil and tossed it on the fire. About 30 minutes later we where feasting on this fine meal with a side of cornbread muffins. </div>

<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: center;">Another first for me, campfire popcorn. The hubbs went up to grab some more firewood from the general store and came back with popcorn. I've seen it before in stores I've just never made it myself. It didn't seem to be popping at first. I assumed it would start right away but took a bit. But once it got going and was finished we had a lovely little buttery snack. </span><br />

Bailey clearly was just fine laying on the gravel earlier that morning but for some reason she seemed so much more relaxed laying on the blanket once I pulled it out. Spoiled much. Then you have Dingo who can't be more than a couple inches away from us it seems like. After we had finished off our s'mores and were sitting by the fire he helped himself in to the hubbs lap. They both think they are lap dogs and take full advantage of it. </span></div>
<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The next morning we had breakfast before taking the pups on a walk and packing up to head back home. Fired Eggs with Turkey Sausage between a toasted English Muffin with a slice of melted Pepper Jack Cheese. I think it might have been my favorite meal of the weekend. Aside from the S'mores of course. And I mean you can't beat a view like that now. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VxQcTvauzAc/VziL8jVbyMI/AAAAAAAATAs/iikCqPWy6EISbxh-Gsds0JWb41XxCL0vgCLcB/s1600/IMG_3617.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VxQcTvauzAc/VziL8jVbyMI/AAAAAAAATAs/iikCqPWy6EISbxh-Gsds0JWb41XxCL0vgCLcB/s400/IMG_3617.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We decided just to leave the bed down for the drive home since we where going to be washing the sheets and the inside needed a good cleaning. So of course these two mutts took full advantage. I'd be pretty tired to if I decided to go darting through the back screen of the Westy in the middle of the night and run around the camp site. Yup that would have been Dingo. He must of saw or heard something and jump right out. The mesh screen we have for the back that allows you to leave the hatch open does not attach to the bottom. Only the top and sides so he just went right under it. He's such a turd!!! </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We had such a great time and are already looking forward to our next trip out in a few weeks.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*Smothered Baked Chicken Burrito's with a side of Mexican Rice- Stuffed inside was a Mexican Chicken that had been cooked in the crock pot all day. Topped with a Homemade Cheesy Green Chili Sour Cream Sauce. Let me tell you these where fabulous. Stuff a large whole wheat tortilla with the meat mixture a little cheese bake it in the oven for 20 minutes to get nice and crispy, add toppings and there you have it. Mouth watering. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XSSzt76ucMM/VuN5zoaHJ3I/AAAAAAAASxE/zYCjBtzFSdQEcuGU0WDkkNDpzoyvtoPlA/s1600/unnamed.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XSSzt76ucMM/VuN5zoaHJ3I/AAAAAAAASxE/zYCjBtzFSdQEcuGU0WDkkNDpzoyvtoPlA/s400/unnamed.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*Whole Wheat Waffles drizzled with a little Syrup- Theses have defiantly been my go to waffles here lately. They are absolutely fabulous and so quick and easy to put together. Best part is I can freeze the left over, and pop them in the toaster in the morning for a quick healthy breakfast. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DA-jGcuZUUA/VuV9u4RSZYI/AAAAAAAASx0/U2bjl2UpJLEXGkNoAqIRR9XYZ2RoFl1Fw/s1600/IMG_3037.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DA-jGcuZUUA/VuV9u4RSZYI/AAAAAAAASx0/U2bjl2UpJLEXGkNoAqIRR9XYZ2RoFl1Fw/s400/IMG_3037.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*PIZZA- Who doesn't love pizza. I took a whole wheat tortilla spread some sauce on top, added the fixings: Cheese, Black Olives, Green Bell Peppers, Mini Pepperoni and Turkey Sausage. I tossed it in the oven and baked it for about 8-10 minutes @350. It was so tasty and filling. I've never made pizza this way before, it def. won't be the last. It was great. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-X6aex20RDN0/Vuta3nHsXwI/AAAAAAAASzI/kiiNL3Yr18cVc4RGHP8Wu5JLIJ9TvgzbQ/s1600/unnamed.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-X6aex20RDN0/Vuta3nHsXwI/AAAAAAAASzI/kiiNL3Yr18cVc4RGHP8Wu5JLIJ9TvgzbQ/s400/unnamed.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
*Cornbread Waffles and Chili- I've been wanting to put these two together ever since the hubbs got me a waffle maker for Christmas. Box cornbread (nothing fancy there) and my homemade delicious chili on top. It was quite tasty and fun if I do say so. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8kKnSYXTFSw/VwWXh7yEJ6I/AAAAAAAAS0g/8KpdMcsJoAgcZtC3B_iTf-aAdubzeGt0A/s1600/IMG_3041%2B2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8kKnSYXTFSw/VwWXh7yEJ6I/AAAAAAAAS0g/8KpdMcsJoAgcZtC3B_iTf-aAdubzeGt0A/s400/IMG_3041%2B2.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
*Pizza Calzones- A new one for us to try. Why we wanted so long I have no clue. I stuffed it with everything we would top a pizza with, cheese, pepperonis and all the yummy goodness. Topped with Shredded Mozzarella Cheese and baked for 15-18 minutes at 375. Slice it up and it's ready to serve. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vcdIvvLZvVw/VwWXhq4vlJI/AAAAAAAAS0Y/50RllrxF4wwzt2YD7g_y7oCLx-RLXeRmA/s1600/IMG_3082%2B2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vcdIvvLZvVw/VwWXhq4vlJI/AAAAAAAAS0Y/50RllrxF4wwzt2YD7g_y7oCLx-RLXeRmA/s400/IMG_3082%2B2.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Buffalo (Bison) Burgers on a Pretzel Bun with the fixin's and a side of Sweet Potato Fries- We purchased the burger patties pre-made from the commissary and the buns. Its not often we do burgers so I let the hubbs pick, knowing he'd choose Bison. Sweet Potato fries was a much healthier option over regular fries but I knew I wasn't going to want to make my own this evening so pre-made it was. This meal did not disappoint at all. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I've been sitting on pins and needles every since we found out we were expecting. Waiting and Wondering what our sweet baby was. Were we having a Boy or a Girl. But as time progressed I started leaning more and more towards really really wanting a boy. I found myself thinking that I would actually be disappointed it we ended up not having a boy. Regardless it was all silliness. As long as our sweet little baby was HEALTHY, that was all that matter. People would ask me what I want and I'd say "a girl but I'm almost most positive we are having a boy." Boys are much more dominate on both our sides of the family. When the hubbs was asked by anyone he would reply with "healthy" but deep down he wanted a boy. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We weren't going to find out early what we were having. The hubbs theory behind it was "why pay for something when we get it for free through our insurance." Yes Yes, I totally get it and understand BUT if we wanted until we where able to find out through the military hospital on post we would not find out till Mid May and I just could not at all wait that long. I mean sure it's only a month and a half away but STILL its so far away. I wanted to know, I needed to know!!! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We made a appointment during my lunch break and met up to at Baby Bump. That morning getting ready for work and all through the work day I was a nervous wreck. I new I wanted to know what we where having, but a little part of me was thinking "once we find out, then its really real." "Wait who am I kidding its already real". I think it was just a bit over whelming maybe. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I knew, I just knew it was a boy. The night before I asked the hubbs what he though we where having and he said a "girl." But the day of he said a "boy." </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We where all set up in the room it was about to happen... we where going to find out the gender of our sweet baby. The In-Loves were able to view the entire sonogram live on line. It was so cool to have them be apart of such a special time in our life, being so far away. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Clear as crystal there he was, our little guy. You couldn't have mistaken it at all. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We where able to watch our little guy on the big screen for a good 20 minutes during our appointment. He is such a active guy, even at our first ultrasound our midwife made a comment about how active he was. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We couldn't be more excited about having a little boy. Everything looked good during the sonogram. Since its not a OB office they aren't able to really tell you details, but the tech informed us that nothing at all looked alarming to her. Blood flow was great, all his limbs, fingers and toes were accounted for. We couldn't be more blessed. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I posted this picture on Instagram and Facebook this evening sharing with all our family and friends. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We love love cupcakes so when I was tossing idea's around on how I wanted to share with everyone, this seemed perfectly fitting!!! </div>

I have another appointment coming up in about two weeks and I'm curious to see how our little man is doing, hear his heart beat and to hear what our mid-wife has to say. I only wish the hubbs was going to be here to go with me. At least he'll be here for our appointment in May, which is a big one. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
We had been planning our long Easter Weekend camping trip for a good few weeks now. Knowing the hubbs was leaving for a while right after, we knew this would be a great little get away for us. Back up about 3 weeks. We took the Westy out for a drive and on our way home it started making this awfully loud beeping noise. We both looked at each other with this "what in the world, is going on" look. We pulled over in a parking lot and let it cool down for a minutes and the beeping stopped. But we knew something wasn't right. We continued home, not far down the road it stated up again. "This is not happening" I though to myself. Knowing the Westy is well over 20 years old and it was going to come with its problems at some point or another but the timing could not have been worse. The hubbs added some water to the anti-freeze compartment. Crossing our fingers we headed home. Stopping to grab lunch on the way. Just out side our sub-division the beeping started again. Just let us make it into the garage we said. Sure enough it was leaking pretty bad from under the engine compartment. Blah!!!! Total bummer. After a little research we where able to determine the problem. We ordered the part to fix it with and crossed our fingers that all would be done in time for our get away. Skip ahead a week, the evening we received parts in the mail the hubbs got right to it. Maybe 30-45 minutes into it and he called it quits. Turns out simply just getting the old parts off was harder than he though it was going to be. As he said it "I'm not going to loose sleep over this." You could tell he was getting frustrated with it. We called U-haul to see what time they closed, rushed down and picked up a flat bed trailer to load her up on and take her into the shop the next morning. Thankfully prior to ordering the parts the hubbs had found a local shop here that could do the repairs but he was pretty sure we could save money doing it himself. Sadly it didn't work out that way. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We loaded her up with the help of our neighbors. Let me say that was a scary scary ordeal. I started out in the driver seat and then the hubbs quickly kicked me out. E hopped in and took control as the hubbs pushed her out of the garage. Then it as up to the two of us and C to push her up on the flat bed. They must have determined that another man would do better at pushing so E and I switched. I was in charge of the break, making sure she didn't slide back or go over the front right into the bed of our truck. Talk about a huge responsibility. No pressure, none at all lol. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2xoQuj0vuLA/VwWxffLc88I/AAAAAAAAS1E/KETdsZWV3kQ48GV6HTPi5lKJTPZPJ-_fg/s1600/IMG_3080.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2xoQuj0vuLA/VwWxffLc88I/AAAAAAAAS1E/KETdsZWV3kQ48GV6HTPi5lKJTPZPJ-_fg/s400/IMG_3080.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The hubbs dropped off the Westy the next morning but we didn't get a call back on a it for two days since they were busy. We still had high hopes that she'd be done and ready for our trip over the weekend, We scheduled our check in for Friday evening just to give a little extra time. Friday afternoon rolled around and we'd just returned from our bike ride. We received the call, it wasn't happening. They had found another leak and needed to order parts to fix it. I was heart broken. We did a little shopping that morning for our trip, but stuff that we needed, for the van its self. Thankfully we held off on food shopping till we knew fore-sure. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We made the most of our weekend now that we didn't have any plans. The hubbs sprung a trip to Bowling Green, KY on me that afternoon. It's about a hour an a half to two hours away. Why not. We made a afternoon of it, came back to town and had dinner out. Saturday we spent the day down in Nashville and then Sunday we went out to LBL - Land Between the Lakes and did a bit of exploring. I was totally bummed our trip was cancelled but we still had a great time on our long weekend together.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5vdtLM6Z8iM/VwWxfPgM0FI/AAAAAAAAS1A/CJnOGUVCsY4luN5hcAQrK2q3y3m547mcg/s1600/IMG_3110.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5vdtLM6Z8iM/VwWxfPgM0FI/AAAAAAAAS1A/CJnOGUVCsY4luN5hcAQrK2q3y3m547mcg/s400/IMG_3110.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Wednesday afternoon we finally received a call that the Westy was finished and ready to be picked up. The hubbs wasn't able to pick it up till the next day but coming home that evening and opening the garage door and finally seeing it back was such a exciting time. It was the first of sadly I'm sure not the last time she'll be in the shop. Thankfully going into this when we first bought Westy we set up a Westy Fund, incase something like this were to come up. I'm forever grateful we did to, because that would have def. hurt our account had we not. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Plans are set for a weekend camping trip when the hubbs returns. It'll be the perfect way to celebrate both of our birthdays. :) </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The last couple weeks I have been completely consumed, wrapped up and busy with school. I'm sure I've mentioned before but I'm taking 3 classes this semester. Two of which are online and the Third meets twice a month on Saturday's for 8 hours. The work load of the assignments in themselves have been a handful. Lets not forgetting the actual reading, learning and remembering part of it. Often I would find myself simply trying to complete the assignments on time that I wouldn't even take much from the lesson / module for the week. That's not the way it should be. This is the first time I've taken three classes at once, but I can almost guarantee that it'll be the last time. On top of working full time, its just a lot to take on.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I spend my lunch breaks working on homework here at work, typing up assignments, doing research to complete a paper. I haven't really been taking my lunch break to have a break and step away. Most day's I come to work between 7:15 and 7:30 and I don't leave the building that day until I am going home. Many nights as late as 5:30pm.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've decided to put a stop to it, well a little at least. I need to take time for me, I need to get out of the building, I need to get fresh air, I need to put the computer down and walk away from my school work every once in a while. Classes end the first of May and won't pick back up till the mid August but we've got some things going on right now and I know life isn't going to slow down.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've decided to make more time for me. I need to, it'll be good for my soul and those around me. But mostly for me.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Last week on my lunch break I went up to Dunbarcave. It's a local park less than half a mile from were I work. There's picnic tables, walking / running trails, a cave to explore and much more. I was planning on just walking the long loop but something sparked me when I was leaving on my lunch and I decided to run it. Boy was it ruff but I felt great afterwards. Nothing like a good trail run to get your heart pumping and your blood flowing.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yesterday I decided to grab a sandwich from Jimmy John's and go to Dunbarcave for lunch. It was such a beautiful day out. The sun was shinning, the temperature was perfect. It was so peaceful and quite just to be outside away from work and the hustle of life. I'm pretty sure it made my sandwich taste even better because it left me wanting more.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6K-dEc7sgqE/VuDE87V_LWI/AAAAAAAASwQ/7Cfz1ZWsOz0/s1600/unnamed-6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6K-dEc7sgqE/VuDE87V_LWI/AAAAAAAASwQ/7Cfz1ZWsOz0/s400/unnamed-6.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've defiantly decided that I will be doing this more often. I'm planning on taking one day a week and getting out of the building and going to do something for me. Even if it is just up to Dunbarcave to have lunch by myself. It's well worth it. The school work will be there the next day and so will everything else. I need this, I need this for me. </div>
</div>

Its not secret that this girl loves being in the kitchen, its one of my happy places. I would cook and bake all day long if I could. Sadly I can't though, there's this things called life, work, school and a house to keep up with. But here's a little peak at some of the tasty goodness we had here lately.<br />
<br />
*Loaded Veggie BBQ Chili with homemade Cheddar Biscuits on top. It was pretty tasty. Not one of those I'd be jumping up and down to make again but we enjoyed it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4q98ny7BYQs/VuCoQ4tB9lI/AAAAAAAASv8/CFf8sEd4Va0/s1600/unnamed.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4q98ny7BYQs/VuCoQ4tB9lI/AAAAAAAASv8/CFf8sEd4Va0/s320/unnamed.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
*Pecan, Coconut, Banana Nut Bread. Now this was marvelous and I'll jump at the chance to make this again. I pretty much love any kinda of banana bread, well without the chocolate chips. So this was def. a keeper in my book.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZUkIIaWFhJw/VuCoQCEvH7I/AAAAAAAASvs/EOktCu8Z9Sg/s1600/unnamed-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZUkIIaWFhJw/VuCoQCEvH7I/AAAAAAAASvs/EOktCu8Z9Sg/s320/unnamed-1.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
*Homemade Biscuits, Homemade Sausage Gravy with Crispy Bacon and Scrambled Eggs for our Sunday morning breakfast. Don't mind if I do. I recently figured out that making biscuits really isn't that hard and I'm loving it. I'll never buys pre-made again.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gJF437Rbk78/VuCoQO_iWII/AAAAAAAASv0/p1Kc3-N5ilw/s1600/unnamed-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gJF437Rbk78/VuCoQO_iWII/AAAAAAAASv0/p1Kc3-N5ilw/s320/unnamed-2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
*Grilled Chicken and Veggie Kabob's. Actually the night before we had these I had grilled Turkey Sausage and Veggie Kabobs served over Whole Wheat Pasta. Those were mouth watering, let me just tell you. It was the first time I'd ever grilled Sausage. Where has this been all my life. Well we had plenty of Veggie Kabobs left over so we decided to grill up some chicken the next night.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-i8I7DA_Kb5A/VuCoQKk_SlI/AAAAAAAASvw/T_tk8aghKNk/s1600/unnamed-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-i8I7DA_Kb5A/VuCoQKk_SlI/AAAAAAAASvw/T_tk8aghKNk/s320/unnamed-4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
*Oven Baked Chicken Parmesan served over Whole Wheat Pasta with a side of Squash and Zucchini.We haven't had Chicken Parm. in a while and when I suggested it to the hubbs he was all over it. The breading mixture was a new one and I was hoping it turned out as good as it smelled when I was mixing it together. And of course it most certainly did. I'm sure the homemade pasta sauce help tip it over the edge just a little as well.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vReCRmTqwiw/VuCoQjycFlI/AAAAAAAASv4/VKFOjMCxoog/s1600/unnamed-5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vReCRmTqwiw/VuCoQjycFlI/AAAAAAAASv4/VKFOjMCxoog/s320/unnamed-5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
There's been so many other meals we've cooked up over the last few weeks these where the only ones I happen to snap pictures of before we sat down and dug in. You can bet there will be plenty more to come in the near future. :) </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
As the army has it, its done it again. Taken away another sweet friend of mine. I feel like just as we get close, get into a routine and comfortable its time to start over. I knew this was coming well before but that doesn't mean it made it any easier. My sweet friend Gill who I'd met through work when I first started here is moving / pcsing to Germany with her little family. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A little back story...Gill and her Hubbs where suppose to pcs to Germany back in the fall of 2014 but her husband ended up coming down on deployment orders. With the arrival of their first baby in March G. decided it was best to move back home to Texas to be around family. Spring of 2015 she moved back to TN and came back to work. It was so awesome to have her back, to say we were all excited was a little lie, we where over joyed. However there was that little debbie downer that hung over us all. Those pcs orders to Germany still stood. Around August- September 2015 time frame Gill took over the 4 year old class so we worked hand in hand. As the days came closer to her last day, reality began to set in that she was really leaving. Gill is one of my closets friends at work and not having her here any more is really hard. It truly breaks my heart. I'm lucky enough to have another friend who I adore and who is also a Milispouse step in and take over her class. I love A and I know we will work great together, we have so much in common. You know though, when your used to one person and the way you two work together and jell it just flows. Here's to the next few months of getting into a routine and flow with A and figure things out together. It hasn't even been a week and I miss Gill already. I texted her on Tuesday and told her it just wasn't the same with out her here. I'll miss my morning Hot Chocolate that she would bring me sometimes, I'll miss our lunch dates and all the stories we'd share. I'll miss her sweet little Cammie and watching him grow. I'll miss picking her brain about life and everything we are both going through. What who am I kidding I'm going to miss everything about her. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Of course we will stay in touch, we'll still have our chats and even lunch dates via Skype, its just not going to be the same. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I put together a little going away dinner for Gill with some of the other girls we work with at her favorite Mexican joint here in town and we had the best time. I'll miss our Chips and Salsa Dates for sure. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
About two weeks prior to him finding out during our weekly chat's we were talking about something and he had asked me then if I was pregnant. I quickly changed the subject and went on talking about something else. Later in the conversation it came up again. Seriously dude would you just drop it already I thought. I already had a plan of how were were going to tell him and I've held out this long two more weeks wasn't going to hurt anything. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once we to our sonogram picture from our first appt. we made a copy of it and put it inside a card one of the girls at work helped make for me. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I wrote a little message in it, told him I was sorry for not telling him earlier (which I knew he'd totally understand). I dropped it in the mail Wednesday afternoon and sat by my phone for the next few days. Friday came and went Saturday came and went. I figured 1) it didn't get there by Saturday and would arrive on Monday or 2) it did and he just didn't check his mail since they'd probably been out on the water all day. (they have a community mail area at the bottom of the hill, where he has to go check his box, so its not as simple as walking out the front door.) Sunday we were out grabbing lunch in the Westy and I left my phone in the van when we went inside to get our food. When we got back in the van I had 3 texted messages from Bubby. My heart immediately started racing and I got so excited. I looked at the hubbs before I even opened the texts from him and said JT know'. Sure enough I opened the text messages to find this. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-OHYIyuAsKJA/VuWGbNbKJNI/AAAAAAAASyg/0GlP8JcfOBIvn0WGiFLkwgQos4UlyYE-g/s1600/FullSizeRender%2B2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-OHYIyuAsKJA/VuWGbNbKJNI/AAAAAAAASyg/0GlP8JcfOBIvn0WGiFLkwgQos4UlyYE-g/s400/FullSizeRender%2B2.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I figured he'd call me when he opened the card, but either way he finally knew. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I called him back and he was so excited. He say's he knew it but I don't believe him, he's crazy. But hey maybe he did. Maybe its a sibling instinct. Who know's!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Baby is due 15 days before Bubby's birthday which makes it that much more sweeter. My Bubby is one of my best friends and I just know he's going to make the best Uncle JT ever. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now that he know's I can finally fill him in on what we sent Nene for her birthday. She's the last Grandparent between not just JT and I but the Hubbs as well. We knew we wanted to do something extra special to let her know she was going to be a Great Nene. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Well the first month was a breeze seeings as I had no clue I was even pregnant. I thankful didn't have any symptoms of pregnancy. In fact nothing at all seemed different or out of the norm for me. My appetite was the same. My work outs where the same. I didn't seem anymore or less tired that I normally did. I still was eating the same foods. In fact I lost 2.2lbs. in the first week of the new year. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The only thing that did change was my worry. Not being able to be seen by a doctor until almost a month after I found out drove me absolutely crazy. I was so worried, I just wanted to know that baby was ok and that I was doing everything I could to have a safe and healthy pregnancy. Our first appt. rolled around and I almost felt like it was a waste of time. It was a orientation appt. that took maybe 30 minutes. Answered some questions, had some blood work done and we where on our way. I was a bit disappointed. Still no morning sickness but the headaches have been something awful. I got the ok from the nurse to take tylenol which I've tried really hard not to have to do. But I have had to break down and take it 3 times now because my headaches were so bad. I'm not one to take meds just because, its gotta be really bad for me to take something. So when my headaches were so bad it had me sitting at the kitchen table in tears I had to given in and take something. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The following month seemed to go by pretty quickly which was nice. The nausea that I did have has slowly gone away. Still haven't had any sickness thank goodness. I'm such a baby when I'm sick so I could only imagine how this would have turned out. March 1st, at 13 weeks we finally had our first real appt. Were we where able to see our growing baby. The hubbs I guess didn't realize we would get to see the baby on the ultrasound, he though we where just going to hear the heart beat. Which we did as well. I wasn't excepting to see a fully formed baby. I was expecting the baby to still look like a blob or a little gummy bear of sorts as people call it. But no you could clearly see the little legs, arms, head. It was so surreal. I knew at this appt. it would really hit me that we were having a baby. Not that it hadn't before but seeing our baby made it that much more real. We both quickly confirmed that there in fact was only one. I'm thrilled to report that there is in fact only one baby. With a strong heart beat of 176. Our midwife said everything looked great and seemed very happy with how things were progressing and going, which was a sign of relief. We are still tracking September 15th due date. Which seems so far away. Yet I know it will be here before we know it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I don't wanna say the first trimester was a breeze because it definitely came with its fair share of struggles and hard times. However I know compared to many others I've had it pretty easy. Here's to hoping the next 6 months go by with little to no problems or sickness. </div>

Over the weekend my mom and her new husband Chuck came in town to visit. A quick visit that is. Their able to fly for free via Stand By thanks to their work at American Airlines. They were set to arrive just before noon on Saturday so the hubbs and I headed down to Nashville early to do a little window shopping. We spent the morning checking out some of our go to stores before heading to the airport. We had plans to have lunch at one of our all time favorite eateries, Loveless Cafe. Oh my mouth was already watering before we even got their. We ended up having to wait about a hour for our table. Fine by me, as long as it meant I'd be getting some of those mouth watering biscuits at some point or another. I love the little shops around the property that your able to walk through and check out while you wait. It helps pass the time. After a bit of shopping we found and picnic table outside where we sat, relaxed and caught up a bit while we waited.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lunch was absolutely fabulous, there's just no other way to put it. I had the Pork BBQ Plate with a side of Fried Okra and Green Beans. I normally go for the Chicken N Waffles but decided to step out of my box and try something different. It didn't disappoint either.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After lunch we headed to the Grand Ole Opry, we'd driven by several times but never gotten out and actually walked around or toured it. The Grand Ole Opry was the one thing Chuck wanted to see while he was here. Who am I to interject, I'd never been either so it was a win win for both of us. We eventually started to make our way back to town, it was only around 4pm but it had already been a long long day.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Y3ZrXDW4Fgc/Vsow9Gv7NbI/AAAAAAAASuU/HAMjPvzLrpU/s1600/IMG_2876.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Y3ZrXDW4Fgc/Vsow9Gv7NbI/AAAAAAAASuU/HAMjPvzLrpU/s400/IMG_2876.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We drove them through Downtown Clarksville on our way home, when they suddenly asked if there was a spot close by they could get a picture with the state sign. DONE, we said. They where able to mark TN and KY off their list. Perks of living so close to the state boards I suppose.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For dinner I had plans to make some tasty Pizza and Salad. I already cut up all the veggies and prepped them the night before along with making the pizza dough crust. Everything just had to put together and baked. On the menu was a BBQ Chicken Pizza and a Supreme. We had a friend stop by so he joined us for dinner and everyone seemed to love the pizza's. This is the second time recently that we have made pizza at home and I forget how much fun it is.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We followed dinner up with a trip in the Westy up to Berry Bear for some Frozen Yogurt. Oh so yummy. Shortly later we called it a night, after all the hubbs and I had been up and on the go since 6am that morning.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Oh the breakfast menu for this morning as nothing other than some tasty Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Icing. Working ahead to save time this morning I made up the Roll's last night so they simply just had to be baked this morning. Since I had double the recipe it took a bit longer to cook but let me tell you they didn't disappoint at all. These are our Go To Cinnamon Roll's we'll never buy store bought canned or frozen ever again. We've made these a good few times now, so I've pretty much got it down to a science. They where a Win and Guest approved.</div>

After breakfast the hubbs had to head into work for a few hours, total bummer. Mom, Chuck and I took the pups for a walk around the block, and then relaxed watching a movie before heading to Miss Lucille's to do a little shopping. Unfortunately after our little Antiquing journey it was time to head to the airport to drop them off. They had a flight out at 2:20 that afternoon. Like I said it was a SHORT visit. But it was really good to see them. I really wish they could have stayed longer but any time is better than none I suppose right. Hopefully they'll be able to come back out again soon.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I didn't take many pictures at all while they where here. Things seemed so busy that I didn't even pull my phone out most of the time. </div>

It seems like forever since I've last blogged and well if we're being honest it really has been forever. I feel like we've done so much since the New Year started and I haven't had the chance or taken the time to sit down and document it. I want to keep up with this here blog of mine for my own personal self. Being able to look back years from now and read through our journey's is something I know I'll enjoy. Sometimes I feel like we just get caught up living in the moment and enjoying life that the last thing I want to do is sit down in front of the computer. Even more so now that I'm taking 3 classes, 2 of which are online, so that tends to consume a bit of my time.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Over the last few weeks we've enjoyed a few outings around town and into Kentucky. We went up to BowlingGreen, KY and toured the Lost River Cave which was really neat. We did a little shopping around town and grabbed lunch at Chuy's Mexican Restaurant before heading back home. We really did enjoy ourselves and it was so nice to get away and explore a city we hadn't yet been to.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The hubbs had a week where he was working some late nights for awhile. These guys really missed him and would sit at the entry way just waiting for him to walk through the door. Poor puppies miss their daddy.</div>

Oh the Snow, the first winter I was here it was pretty and I enjoyed it. Now I'm just over it. Although I am not very comfortable driving in it I have managed to get around and make it to work on the day's we where open. I think the pups are still a little unsure of it. Sometimes they seem to not mind it and then other times they seem to hate it and won't even go off the back porch when we let them outside. We took them out for a walk and they just wanted to lick it and try to eat it the whole way. I'm ready for Spring, Warm Weather and FLIP FLOPS please!!!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
One snowy afternoon the hubbs decided it would be a great idea to make homemade pizza for dinner. Sounded delicious to me, however we didn't really have anything at home to make pizza with. I told him if he drove we could go to the store and get what we needed, so that we did and this was here was created. Let me tell you it as simply fabulous. I can't believe we don't do homemade (crust included might I add) more often. It's so fun and tasty.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
The following morning we had big plans for breakfast, a biscuit, sausage and gravy bake. I came across this recipe on pinterest a while back and had been itching to try it. So of course being snowed in, this seemed like the perfect time. And since I had all the time in the world I figured I'd try my hand at homemade biscuits. There's first for everything right. OMG they came out so so good. I was in heaven. And it was so easy. All this time it seemed so daunting so I never tried making them. I don't know that I'll ever buy store biscuits again or even a mix.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The breakfast casserole turned out simply fabulous and we even had it for left over's the next day.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
There was about a two week period just recently where the hubbs was gone for training. Here but gone. I had a much needed girls day with two of my favorite people here. We met up for pedicure, followed by Chinese for dinner. From there we went to Hobby Lobby and picked up a craft to work on while we Skyped and watched a movie with Amy's Mom and Sister that live in Utah. It was so much fun. We had yummy snacks, lots of laughs and all managed to work on our cross stitch that we picked out a bit. I don't know that any of us really paid much attention to the movie although I was totally fine with that. It was just what I needed. I didn't get home that night till almost 1am and yet I was still wide awake the next morning at like 6:30-7:00am. Thankfully with the hubbs being away and needing to work on school work I had a lazy day to myself with the pups.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Taco Monday: sure it would have sounded more catchy being Taco Tuesday but it was a Monday night. I went and had our taxes done and the hubbs cooked up the chicken for me so I could get dinner going quickly when I got home. Another one we haven't had in a good long while. These where Oven Baked Cheesy Tacos and let's just say, they where so good. I could have stuffed my face with one more. But I chose not to and saved it for my lunch the next day and it was just as good then to. Now the rice on the other hand, not really sure what went wrong there but it wasn't all that great. I'm a huge fan of rice to, so I was a bit disappointed. Thankfully the taco's made up for it.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Thursday night we had a Hail and Farewell at The Blackhorse downtown. It's always nice to get out with the hubbs and enjoy a evening together. I still don't know many wives in his company and this was a Battalion level event so there was quite a few people I didn't even recognize. It was only Platoon SGT's and up which made it a small quant gathering.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had originally made cookies for a few of the girls at work and well long story short my annoying very very bad dogs some home managed to get the entire tray of 4 dozen cookies off the kitchen counter while I work and ate the entire thing. You can bet they got sick and threw up and I didn't feel the least bit sorry for them. I was so mad. So after the Hail and Farewell I decided to make some homemade brownies to take instead. I needed something easy and quick that I could pull out of the oven and cover to let it cool. Of course they couldn't be just any old brownies. I had to fancy them up a bit. I made up some peanut butter cookie dough and dropped spoonful's in the brownie mixture and topped them with sprinkles. Boy let me say they turned out great. I was still mad about the cookies but I think this ended up being just a tad bit better than what the cookies would've been.</div>

Friday at work the kiddo's had their Valentines Exchange and Party. They had so much fun and defiantly loaded up on some tasty treats and cute cards. I made these cute little Gold Fish Valentines for them and I love the way they came out. So simply yet so cute.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Boy or Girl, did you find out or let it be a surprise? We've still got a way's to go till we are able to find out the gender but I'm dying inside wanting to know. There's no way I could wait till the birth to find out and thankfully the hubbs is on the same page as me when it comes to this. I'm a huge panner, talk about some serious OCD here. I want to have babe's name picked out (thats a whole other story), the nursery designed and finished. You know the whole nine yards. Oh and of course everything will be monogrammed <strike>(ok maybe not everything)</strike> so there needs to be plenty of time for that. I want to have a clearly defined nursery. I'm not a gender neutral kinda gal. Nothing wrong with that at all, just not for me. Everyone has their reasonings for doing what they choose to do when it comes to finding out the gender. But for us / me, I want to know. I'm already going crazy not knowing. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you found out the gender of your baby how did you do it? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
*A gender reveal party?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
*Did you surprise your Spouse?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
*Simply have your doctor tell you?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
*Did you do something special / outta the box for the two of you?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'd love to hear your idea's / suggestions. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
When the hubbs deployed in November of 2014 I made a huge change in my fitness and nutrition routines. Really focusing on me and building a better life for myself, the hubbs and our future. Now more than ever I really need to stay focused on my goals and stay on track with my nutrition and workouts. Its not just about me any more but a growing babe as well. I won't even lie or sugar coat it, pregnancy absolutely terrifies me. The weight gain, the sickness, the delivery, my body changing. Did I mention the weight gain. AAAHHH!!!!! Its all so scary and over whelming, I know its one of the best times in our / my life but it still is so much to take in. I plan to stick to my workouts, running and biking as long as I can and I have the ok from my doctor. Thankfully being in a really good routine before hand helps me keep that momentum going.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know everyones situation and experience is different and I want to make are I have as easy and smooth painless pregnancy and birth as possible. So I am going to try to do everything possible to make that happen. I know there will be those moments of absolute misery, but I can only hope they are far and few between. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Speaking of a easy pregnancy, I know that the most important part is the simple fact that babe is 100% ok and healthy. I want nothing more than to have a healthy babe. I know that as long as babe is healthy and well everything else will fall into place. However I may have my finger's crossed that babe is a girl. It's always been a dream of mine to have a little southern girl. I think we are pretty settled on just having one. (that's the plan as of now at least.) I do know that I would be just as happy and over joyed with a handsome little boy to. Girls are just so adorable and so much fun!! Right!!!!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
After tossing around a couple idea's I decided to have a little mini photo shoot done by my friend / director from work. <strike>The hubbs just loves having his picture taken</strike>, insert sarcasm here lol. Knowing he had off on Friday I convinced him that Brittany needed a couple to practice shooting some Valentines day pictures for next month. It took a little arm twisting considering we'd just had her do our pictures two months prior. Well with the expected rain on Friday, as well as getting a little antsy I was able to talk the hubbs into taking pictures on Thursday. It worked out prefect because the weather was absolutely beautiful.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We each had a sign, I told him to write one thing he loved most about me and that I was doing the same. I love what he wrote, he has a way with keeping things simple yet so sweet. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'll let the pictures do the talking....</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Standing with my back to him I was beyond nervous but excited to turn around. We'd been talking about this off and on for the past 9 years. We'd always said if it happens unplanned we will make it work. But finally settling down and deciding ok we where ready was scary. But was he really ready? Ready to be a Daddy and take on a whole new role?! Our lives where going to be changing drastically in a matter of months. I couldn't wait to see the look on his face, to hear his reaction and thoughts. Ready or Not this was happening, our life was changing and there wasn't any turning back. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
I can't thank Brittany enough for taking the time out of her day to do this for her. She is a absolute doll. I not only love working for her but I love having her as a friend!!! :) </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Over the weekend I though maybe.....just maybe. No it couldn't be, it's to early its to soon. We'd only taken this path just a short 5 months earlier. This couldn't be happening.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Monday morning on my way to work I texted my Spouse (aka Sarah).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-O0QIoOs_JFA/Vp04PAxYMcI/AAAAAAAASpY/nwwdqHl4JVM/s1600/IMG_2659.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-O0QIoOs_JFA/Vp04PAxYMcI/AAAAAAAASpY/nwwdqHl4JVM/s640/IMG_2659.jpg" width="356" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I still wasn't 100% sold that this could even be a possibility. My lunch rolled around I went up to Walgreen's. I picked up a 2 pack and figured I'd have one for now and one for in the morning. You know just in case I didn't like the answer it gave me or wanted to double check and see if maybe it changed. That's when I looked down and saw a box with three. Ok what the heck at least this way if the out come wasn't what we where hoping for I'd have another one on hand for next month.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Back to work, I took the test. "It's the middle of the day I though, it's not going to happen". Your suppose to do this first thing when you wake up.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I stuck it in my cabinet and went to get my lunch. A couple minutes later I came back to check it and found this....</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pHrUiFQWYOY/VuS4jEK8qxI/AAAAAAAASxY/Xny4RffLopcEOtNnREyDD-MxPUDz0PZgw/s1600/IMG_2643.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pHrUiFQWYOY/VuS4jEK8qxI/AAAAAAAASxY/Xny4RffLopcEOtNnREyDD-MxPUDz0PZgw/s400/IMG_2643.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
OMG, I lost it. I started bawling my eyes out. This couldn't be happening, was this real?! I was a ball of emotions, excited, surprised, scared! Let's be real I was totally overwhelmed.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yes we had been trying but apart of me didn't think it would happen this soon after all it had only been 5 months. (really 4 from the time I got pregnant)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When the Spouse found out she was expecting I was the first one to find out. We where chatting on FB and she sent me a picture on messenger. So it only seemed fitting that A- she was the first to know (all along I knew I tell her first) and B- that I send her a picture. She knew I was at work so after her reply of ...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VmTy0txURLM/Vp04O1hPbgI/AAAAAAAASpU/k3qjEzZ_V40/s1600/IMG_2662.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VmTy0txURLM/Vp04O1hPbgI/AAAAAAAASpU/k3qjEzZ_V40/s640/IMG_2662.jpg" width="355" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I called her back. The next half hour we chatted about so much. It was a world wind. I still was in a little disbelief. She helped me figure out the due date, which made it even more real.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My next step was figuring out how I was going to tell the hubbs. I played around with a couple idea's of course I went to Pinterest. I wanted to do special and different. I mean after all we've waited almost 9 years to even consider trying. So I wanted it to be a moment we would both remember forever.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Tuesday the following morning I took a second test just to see if maybe just maybe it had changed and the first one was a fluke. No such thing. Apparently there's no such thing as a false positive. This was the result I got.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Of course it wouldn't seem right if I didn't do one last "dump" post before the year was over would it now. I've had a few pictures and drafts waiting for a place on this here blog of mine for a good minute and well I just haven't had the time or energy to sit down and put the words together. So here you go, the last little bit of 2015 and how we spent it.<br />
<br />
*Early December we went to the Hubbs Battalion Ball down in Nashville. We ended up staying the night down there and had a great evening out with friends.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6arTxk4UTXg/VowOT2JWimI/AAAAAAAASkY/Uh4pohc_YfY/s1600/PicMonkey%2BCollage.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="377" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6arTxk4UTXg/VowOT2JWimI/AAAAAAAASkY/Uh4pohc_YfY/s400/PicMonkey%2BCollage.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
*The morning after the ball we went to breakfast at Biscuit Love. I'd been wanting to try it for a while now and well it was tasty, I have to say its not some where I'd rush back to.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xkRoPStiv64/VowOlPaMVxI/AAAAAAAASk4/Tc9_SLoaay4/s1600/unnamed-18.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xkRoPStiv64/VowOlPaMVxI/AAAAAAAASk4/Tc9_SLoaay4/s400/unnamed-18.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
*While the hubbs was at a match I took advantage and tagged along. After dropping him off I headed into town to check out the Franklin Factory and Market. I picked up some tasty 100 layer donuts and some Bison for our Christmas Dinner.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GWFONGy06Tk/VowOj5M4SJI/AAAAAAAASkw/KcHmK4J2B4w/s1600/PicMonkey%2BCollagev.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="182" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GWFONGy06Tk/VowOj5M4SJI/AAAAAAAASkw/KcHmK4J2B4w/s400/PicMonkey%2BCollagev.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
*I'm in love with our new fire place mantel picture. I had originally planned to put it over out bed but I just love it here.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hKCRRe1-J9M/VowOcZMPx2I/AAAAAAAASko/jbdGKQSHC4I/s1600/IMG_2383.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hKCRRe1-J9M/VowOcZMPx2I/AAAAAAAASko/jbdGKQSHC4I/s400/IMG_2383.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
*It just wouldn't be a complete holiday with out some freshly made Gingerbread loads and a Candy Cookie Cake for our work New Years Eve Pot Luck.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ql_A7a-oKSk/VowOYxpqN5I/AAAAAAAASkg/ce4ZT0aJ7Gg/s1600/PicMonkey%2BCollagen.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="181" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ql_A7a-oKSk/VowOYxpqN5I/AAAAAAAASkg/ce4ZT0aJ7Gg/s400/PicMonkey%2BCollagen.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
* I hadn't been to a match with the hubbs recently so I decided to tag along this particular day. Bonus we had lunch in Nashville and did a bit of window shopping.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-MOWUDJTaGf8/VowOoT2B1II/AAAAAAAASlA/RT8X9UaoY7Y/s1600/unnamed-6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-MOWUDJTaGf8/VowOoT2B1II/AAAAAAAASlA/RT8X9UaoY7Y/s400/unnamed-6.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
*Our first ever date way back in 2006 was to "Ice" at the Gaylord in Texas. When I found out last year that they did it here at the Opryland Hotel & Resort I told the hubbs we had to go. We enjoyed it and had such a great time.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KQ8Hq527Wi0/VowOrgOC1AI/AAAAAAAASlY/vOFBwK0GjDY/s1600/unnamed-9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KQ8Hq527Wi0/VowOrgOC1AI/AAAAAAAASlY/vOFBwK0GjDY/s400/unnamed-9.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
*My childhood puppy I had before moving to Hawaii was adopted by my best friend Ang. we found out late on Sunday night that she ended up having to be put to sleep. She had, had so many problems of the years but lived a long long life!!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7mFSbswuffY/VowOqAE9XII/AAAAAAAASlM/eis0iCmiGvg/s1600/unnamed-8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="301" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7mFSbswuffY/VowOqAE9XII/AAAAAAAASlM/eis0iCmiGvg/s400/unnamed-8.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
*Right in the mist of preparing dinner one evening after work our power went out. We decided to take the pups on a walk to give it time to come back on but no such luck. Out to dinner we went and ruffly two ours later when we returned there was still no power. I decided it was the perfect time to watch a movie on my computer.<br />

We had a wonderful relaxing low key Christmas weekend this year. We stayed home through the Holiday. We didn't have any family come to visit, it was just the two of us. Plus of course the furry mutts. But it was just perfect. It was nice not to have to worry with the hustle of trying to get from one families home to another. Staying home we where able to do our own thing and simply enjoy each other. I unfortunately had to work up until the day before Christmas Eve, which I suppose wasn't that bad. Other that the fact that I would have much rather been at home with the hubbs. I ended work late Wednesday night due to us having our Preschool Christmas Spectacular Concert. It went off great and everyone really seemed to enjoy it.<br />
<div>
Christmas Eve Morning we woke up and went for a bike ride on post. I really enjoying riding together. It's become something I look forward to doing on the weekends. After our morning ride we went home and I made some delicious GingerBread Pancakes for breakfast.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cSCbd_SbzS4/VoaXpWVvPvI/AAAAAAAASi0/65pqa9jqT-U/s1600/PicMonkey%2BCollage.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="193" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cSCbd_SbzS4/VoaXpWVvPvI/AAAAAAAASi0/65pqa9jqT-U/s640/PicMonkey%2BCollage.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
The hubbs had plans to go shooting with a buddy of his early afternoon which left me home alone. I took full advantage of the day and cleaned the house top to bottom. I even straighten up the garage and took the pups for a walk. It's such a wonderful feeling so have a spic and span home. </div>
<div>
We lounged around the rest of the day and watched Christmas movies. For dinner we carried on a Family Tradition having Sandwiches for dinner. We enjoyed some tasty Turkey, Ham, Bacon and Cheese Croissant Melts with a side of Sweet Potato Puffs. One of my favorites :). Followed by more Christmas Movies.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jrA0ccNjLw0/VoaX6f7v3kI/AAAAAAAASi8/VYwpG2NhPNA/s1600/PicMonkey%2BCollage.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="194" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jrA0ccNjLw0/VoaX6f7v3kI/AAAAAAAASi8/VYwpG2NhPNA/s640/PicMonkey%2BCollage.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
</div>
<div>
Christmas Morning we managed to sleep in a little bit, which was nice and much needed. We agreed to wait and exchange gifts till after I got breakfast in the oven. At his request, Homemade Cinnamon Rolls. Don't mind if I do, I absolutely love them. With breakfast in the oven, the hubbs gave the pups their gift, a large bone each. They seemed to really enjoy it. We too turns opening gifts from each other as well as my Nene. Generally each year it seems like I end up going with a theme for his gifts and this year was no different. It was all about it bike. He received clip on peddles, a bike maintenance book, a bike maintenance rack and clip on shoes. Of course there where a few other odds and ends added in there as well. I received lots of kitchen ware, a oldie but most defiantly a goodies. A new complete set of tubberware (seeings the hubbs has managed to loose not one, two but three sets since he's been home, don't even get me started), a waffle maker, a electric pancake griddle (both of which I'd been wanting). The hubbs also gave me a new Garmin Fitness watch which I'm still learning and playing around with. We of course did get each other a few things for the Westy. Christmas wouldn't have been complete if we hadn't.<br />

</div>
<div>
We spent the day lounging around doing absolutely nothing, we stayed in our pjs all day and just relaxed. Something we never do and let me tell you it was so nice. For dinner we went a non-traditional route, Kabobs. Our menu included: Seared Bison topped with sautéed Mushrooms and Feta, Grilled Chicken and Veggies with a Plain Baked Sweet Potato. It was just perfect and tasted fabulous.<br />

Saturday, I decided to go with the hubbs to his match, this way we could go down into Nashville afterwards and do a little shopping. After grabbing some lunch we headed back home to de-christmas the house. I absolutely love the Holiday's and the way our home looks when its decorated but I was ready to get it back to normal. We managed to get everything down, packed away, the tree and loads of boxes that had been piling up loaded in the truck and off to the dump. It was a great feelings to have all of that done and behind us.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fVslmKtlsAQ/VoaZk3IJZcI/AAAAAAAASjw/XJQ-U5Fq9jo/s1600/unnamed-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fVslmKtlsAQ/VoaZk3IJZcI/AAAAAAAASjw/XJQ-U5Fq9jo/s320/unnamed-3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Sunday, we went on a ride, came home busted out the new waffle maker for breakfast and made Belgian Waffles. The rest of the day was just kinda hanging out. We ran a few earns but nothing to fancy. It was a bit rainy and ugly out so we took advantage and chill-axed at home.<br />

<br />
All in All it was a great weekend, just the two of us and I really wouldn't have had it any other way. I hope you and yours had a wonderful Holiday. Merry Christmas!!</div>

Making Goals sounds so much more do able than Making a New Years Resolution. I'm all about having goals, writing them down and having a visual to help keep myself accountable. So here in no particular order at all are my 16 goals for 2016. I'm hoping that by setting realistic goals for myself I will be able to maintain them and keep up with what I have set out for myself in the new year. So here's to 2016 and everything it has ahead to offer.<br />
<br />
1) Be more mindful / careful about spending money. Ask yourself do you really need this, must you have to have it.<br />
<br />
2) No eating out during the work week. Which includes stopping for a drink or snack. Sticking to my planned packed lunches. (I'm pretty good at this already, but I do allow myself a treat here and there)<br />
<br />

Happy Holiday’s to you and your’s. Is it really that time if year again?! Another fun filled fabulous year of memories behind us. You may remember Gabe was deployed from November 2014 - July 2015, leaving me to spend the first part of the year keeping busy with work, school, running and doing fun girlie things. I was even able to enjoy a few weekend getaway’s to SC, OH and WV. </div>

<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>In February I experienced my first snow storm. This Texas girl wasn’t really sure how to handle all that snow or even attempt to drive in it. Mean while Gabe was doing what he does best, helping defend our country down range. April & May rolled around when we celebrated another birthday. I spent the 4th of July with the Gabriel’s and some of their expended family. Mid July rolled around, Gabe and I where reunited after his 3rd deployment, this time after being gone 9 long months. It was definitely the highlight of our year. </div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); -webkit-text-stroke-width: initial; font-family: 'Noteworthy Light';">
<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>In August we enjoyed two long over due fun filled weeks in both Texas and Arizona visiting family and friends on both sides. Surprising both my brother and Gabe’s mom with our arrival, along with Gabe finally getting to go out on the boat to see us ski where just a few of the many highlights from our trip home. </div>

<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>This fall we went on a few weekend get away’s, which included a trip to Louisiana, Memphis and Gatlinburg. Our trip in November to Gatlinburg was to celebrate our 8 year wedding anniversary. We enjoyed exploring the Great Smokey Mountains, a first for the both of us. Such a beautiful place. </div>

<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>One of our most exciting adventures since Gabe returned was the purchase of our ’91 VW Vanagon Westfalia. Also known as our Westy. We’ve spent many weekends now working on the renovations and restoring process of our Westy. It’s become something that we both really enjoy working on together. I know we will have years and years ahead of us to enjoy the Westy and create wonderful lasting memories with her. We’ve already taken her out on a few adventures. We spent Thanksgiving weekend at Montgomery Bell State Park camping. A new tradition maybe? Previously while we where home in Texas we purchased two bicycles and have since then enjoyed getting out and cycling together. Having the bikes to load up on the Westy and take camping has been great, they really come in handy. Especially on our 3 mile ride we had to take to Thanksgiving lunch. </div>

We hope the New Year finds you and your family filled with lots of Love, Joy and Happiness. <span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span></div>

We did something a little different this year for our picture card, and I had our pictures made into polaroids and we made labels to go on the bottom and included them with our yearly holiday letter. I loved the change and I think they turned out great!! </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Oh Christmas Tree.... Oh Christmas Tree... How Lovely are your branches. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
We knew we wanted to take the Westy to pick out our tree this year but it was just finding the right time. Last weekend we had planned on going but it was so rainy and ugly out we decided not to. This morning I made us a tasty breakfast that included biscuits, sausage and gravy. We decided we would wait around to till the mail came to see if our Odometer came in that we had sent off to be repaired before heading out. No point in putting the dash back together if it was going to come today. Sadly no such luck. So the hubbs screwed everything back into place and we headed out. It was the perfect day. The temperature was just right, it was nice not to have to bundle all up like we live in the Arctic. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So we headed out early this afternoon to a local Christmas Tree Farm, Lazy Spread Farms to pick out our perfect tree for this years Holiday Festivities. This is the 2nd year now that we've picked out a real tree and I absolutely love it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We took our time, looked around the farm at all the tree's before settling on the perfect one. It's just right!! I can't wait to get it inside and all decked out!! It's the last thing we have to do, to have our house perfectly decorated for the man in the big red suit to come visit us. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
We decided to do things a little nontraditional this year and for go the big hoopla of a meal and all that comes with it. Wednesday afternoon I was able to get out of work a bit early and make it home just in time to help the hubbs finish packing up the Westy. Shortly after we where on our way to celebrate our first holiday of what I am sure will be many to come in the Westy. Vansgivning!!!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We arrived at Montgomery Bell State Park just after sun set, set up camp (which in the Westy is seriously so easy.) While the hubbs worked on starting a fire I started getting dinner ready. Bean & Cheese Quesadilla with a side of chips and salsa. We are still trying to figure out what meals work for us on the road / camping and what doesn't so we decided to keep it as simple and easy this time around. We spend the better part of our evening around the fire just enjoying the evening. The weather was perfect not to chilly at all. We roasted marshmallow, made s'mores, and chatted with the In-Loves a bit. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5JVH6zLKT-s/VlnZb-IbkII/AAAAAAAAScs/Jrg7K06VZlU/s1600/PicMonkey%2BCollagep.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="510" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5JVH6zLKT-s/VlnZb-IbkII/AAAAAAAAScs/Jrg7K06VZlU/s640/PicMonkey%2BCollagep.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The next morning we, well I tried to sleep in some but the pups and my ever so lovely automatic alarm clock in my head just didn't let me. One beautiful thing about arriving to your camp site after dark is when you wake up you get to see the beautiful surroundings around you. The stream running right behind us, and the lush trees made for a cozy sight. Which simply put that pep in my step for a early start to our day. Sausage, Eggs and a bagel for breakfast while sipping on some Hot Chocolate. After breakfast we headed out to do a little exploring around the camp site with the pups. I managed to get in over 8000 steps before 10:30 that morning. It always fun to take the pups out walking along the trails, they get so excited. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The plan was to have Thanksgiving lunch at the Park Resort. It was only 3 miles away so we knew we would just ride our bikes up there. Literally up, it was mostly up hill half way there. Around 11:00am we decided to make our way over to the Resort, knowing we'd probably have to wait a little bit we wanted to get a early start. Much to our surprise the Resort Restaurant was already packed full of waiting guest's to eat. We where told it would be about a 45 minute wait, which really didn't seem to be that bad considering the amount of people there. It gave us time to catch our breath and cool down from our ride. Lunch / Dinner was served Buffet style, with all the traditional Thanksgiving foods and then some. I'd never been to anything like this before and I asked the hubbs if he had either and he said nope. I didn't really know what to expected. I was so used to doing everything myself and or being with family. This was all so new to me, but let me tell you the food did not disappoint. It was simply fabulous, hot, fresh and kept us full. It wasn't a bad deal at all for $15.95 you could enjoy a feast till your heart desired and that we did, dessert included. Although I couldn't help but think about the fact that we had to ride our bikes back. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We headed out to the parking lot and the hubbs mentioned he figured out a short cut. Ok, I'm all about that, although he failed to mentioned that we would first have to carry our bikes down a couple flight's of stairs ride across a bridge and then straight up close to 100+ stairs to get back up on the road. I wearing boots, blue jeans, a sweat and not to mention I'd just stuffed my face with loads of food. So to say I struggle just a tiny bit would be a true statement. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The pups did so well staying in the Westy while we where gone. We didn't think we would be gone that long but I'm so glad they didn't mess anything up or get into anything.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-B13unSNy2is/VlnZ-0DTEMI/AAAAAAAASdI/qFL82o82dco/s1600/unnamed-17.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-B13unSNy2is/VlnZ-0DTEMI/AAAAAAAASdI/qFL82o82dco/s640/unnamed-17.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7AHLvcqdsak/VlnZ-x3sjXI/AAAAAAAASdE/GCdZL3mGB-k/s1600/unnamed-16.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7AHLvcqdsak/VlnZ-x3sjXI/AAAAAAAASdE/GCdZL3mGB-k/s640/unnamed-16.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
What else do you do after a full Thanksgiving feast, crash out. And that's just what we did. The four of us passed out on the bed. We left the door open to enjoyed the nice breeze coming through and the pups did so good, they didn't even get up to go out once. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Later that afternoon we went on another little trail hike across the stream back behind our camp site. I loved how it was super dog friendly and yet gave us a pretty good work out at the same time. Gotta work off all that goodness we ate right. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That evening our site-neighbors arrive, we chatted with them a bit, cooked up some skillet pizza's for dinner, made some s'mores and relaxed around the campfire.<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wB-ndXNd_W4/Vlna8qJNGhI/AAAAAAAASdY/KTBb71y5Vek/s1600/PicMonkey%2BCollagev.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="236" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wB-ndXNd_W4/Vlna8qJNGhI/AAAAAAAASdY/KTBb71y5Vek/s640/PicMonkey%2BCollagev.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We knew we wanted to head home shortly after breakfast the next morning and of course I did everything I could to sleep in but it just didn't happen. So up early again, I cooked us up some eggs, bacon and potatoes that we enjoyed and then we went on a little walk to get some of the pups energy out before heading out. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
It was the perfect Vansgiving, just the two of us. The weather was amazing the entire time!!! No hustle and bustle of trying to get a big meal prepped and cooked or being on a time schedule having to be at one place or another. I am very traditional and generally want to do things the old fashion way but this was perfect for us. As I grow and experience life I've learned and come to realize that its not all about doing things like everyone else or going all out but rather simply just about being with the ones that matter and that was just what we did this weekend. It was simply but it was perfect!!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I Hope You and Your Family had a Wonderful Thanksgiving and are Enjoying the Holiday Season. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
We celebrated our 8th Wedding Anniversary Yesterday. We spent the weekend in Gatlinburg, TN in a cute little cabin nestled in the woods. Life couldn't have been more perfect!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We headed out Friday late morning after spending a unplanned hour+ getting the oil changed in my car. Never the less we where on our way. First stop was lunch before getting on the highway. Hubbs asked what I wanted, we agreed we'd grab something quick and easy. As against eating Fast Food any more I responded with Chick-fil-a. I hadn't had CFA since my Birthday back in April and for some strange reason it sounded like the best idea ever!!!! I mean it was our anniversary weekend after all so why not splurge a little.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We arrived in downtown Gatlinburg around 6pm that evening after sitting through traffic in Pigeon Forge for almost a hour. Talk about crazy, simply to go about 12 miles. At least it gave us plenty of time to plan out our day for Saturday. Looking at all the shops and sights we knew we had a packed day ahead of us. We found our cabin, looked around and decided since it was still early to head out on the town. The streets where crawling with people...locals and tourists from every where. There where so many cute little shops that we popped in and out of on our quest to find the perfect dinner destination. We ended up at a little Mexican joint right when you come into downtown by the Aquarium. The hubbs and I are all about some good Mexican food, even with the wait being almost a hour. We walked into the bar area which was our doors to get a drink while we waited and lucky for us it was open seating first come first serve. We snagged a table just in time and whelp there went that hour wait. Dinner was so tasty, I really don't drink all that often when we go out. Partly because I'm cheap and partly because I really try to watch my calorie intake and what I eat / drink but that Strawberry Banana Margarita was sounding pretty fabulous. I love anything Strawberry Banana Mixed so why not give this a try I though. Plus we're on vacay right!?!?! :) It lived up and was the best. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
We strolled up the other side of the street on our way back checking out the different stores before grabbing Ice Cream from MayPops on our way back to our cabin. I love love ice cream, my favorite is Peppermint and / or Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Neither of which they had in stock but they did have Banana Pudding and Cookies' n Cream. I'll take two scoops, one of each in a cups please. If I would have known the size of their single scoop I'm pretty sure I would have only ordered one scoop I was huge. A double scoop was like almost 4 scoops for a normal ice cream joint. You better believe it was good, I couldn't finish it though. I would have been so sick. We spend the rest of the evening relaxing in our warm cozy cabin.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The next morning we strolled down to Crockett's Breakfast Camp for a tasty morning meal. I loved how everything was within walking distance. It made it so nice not to have to mess with parking. Well, Let me tell you they did not disappoint. Between the hubbs Eggs Benedict, my Create Your Own Biscuit and the FRIED Cinnamon Roll we split we where definitely happen Campers when we left. </div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
We spent the majority of the day in Pigeon Forge doing some shopping and random sight seeing. We had no idea there was a outlet mall there as well as 3 different stores that sold Fiestaware. We definitely made out good with some new finds. It a bit of a dreary day, kinda cloudy so at least we did have anything big planned outside. We where so busy with shopping that we kept pushing lunch back and before we knew it, it was almost 4:30pm and we where starved. Originally we where going to try out a place back in Gatlinburg near our cabin for dinner but we knew that would be at least a hour or so drive be time we got back to our cabin and walked down there. So we decided we'd try out Paula Dean's Restaurant we spotted earlier in the day. Hey its not 5pm yet there shouldn't be to long of a wait right?!??! Yea, that's what though. After having to park almost a half a mile away, (the shopping area it was in, include a hotel and lots of other sights so it was a huge area.) and finally getting to the restaurant we where told it would be almost a 2 hour wait. aaaaahhhhh you've got to be kidding me. Whelp, the hubbs stuck it out and said that was fine. I really would have been fine going some where else but he's such a good sport. We spent the next hour or so checking out the different shops and doing a little sight seeing there on what they called "The Island" before parking out booties in the rockers out front. Dinner was fabulous, or course did you really expect anything different. Although for the wait and price I'm not sure we will be going back but at least we can say we've been right. :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We finally made our way back to our cabin and since it was still early we decided we would go ahead and check out the Ripley's Aquarium. I mean because we had done enough walking already that day. It was so nice though because it was later in the evening it wasn't crowded at all, there wasn't a ton of little kids running around every where and we were able to really take our time and look at everything we wanted to without having to wait for the little people to move. We always try to make a point to visit the local aquarium where ever we go since we where married in one. We did a bit more walking around downtown afterwards before, calling it a night and heading back. We where exhausted and my feet where killing me.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Sunday morning we went to FlapJack's for breakfast for some yummy pancakes. I had Peanut butter and Banana. They where pretty good but we both agreed we loved Crockett's even better. After breakfast we stopped in a local donut shop that we both had wanted to try out. yes Even though we had just eaten. We did pick up a little treat for later in the day. :) From there we rode the sky lift up to the top of the mountain right there in downtown. And since we got there so early we didn't have to worry with waiting. Which meant we literally walked right up and sat down in our lift chairs. I didn't have much time at all to think about what we where doing and we a little nervous on the way up. The view from up top offered such stunning sights. It was simply gorgeous. Looking down over the city, we could even see our cabin. We eventually headed back down and to the cabin where our day continued. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: center;">We spent the better part of our day driving through and exploring through the Great Smoky Mountains, a first for both of us. As we drove through the mountains to Cade's Cove it was simply beautiful. The trees changing colors and the different look out area's offered such breath taking views. I could have spent all day just wondering around within the mountains taking it all in. </span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: center;">Eventually though we had to call it a day, the sun was setting and we where starting to get a bit hungry. So back to the cabin to freshen up before heading out to dinner at Cherokee Grill. And because my husband loves me, and supports my love of Ice Cream we went back to MayPops for a little after dinner dessert. Snug in bed, next to a warm cozy fire was the prefect way to end our last night away. </span></div>

Monday morning we woke up, Happily Married 8 Years. I can't believe its been EIGHT YEARS, since we said "I DO"!!! Some days it seems like it should be much longer and other days it seems as though we just got married last month. Either way I wouldn't change it for the world!! We decided to go back to Crockett's Breakfast Camp for Breakfast since we both loved it so much the first time. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
After a quick walk through downtown we decided to call it a trip and start heading back. It raining and we didn't want to have to drive home wet and cold so it worked out just fine. We made a stop in Knoxville and toured the Knoxville History Museum on our way back. The plan was to go to a fancy little Steak House in downtown Clarksville since it was our Anniversary night but thankfully on the way home I looked up the hours.... sadly only to find out they where closed on Mondays. No biggie we will go to such and such place in Hop-Town, womp womp they where closed as well. We couldn't decide where we wanted to go. I wanted something different a bit fancy but everything was closed on Monday nights. Yes we HAD to go Monday night because it was OUR NIGHT. So w agreed we go to the steak house another night and ended up at Cheddars for dinner. Its ok, it worked out perfect, we had a tasty meal and where home early enough to relax and enjoy our Anniversary dessert we'd picked up earlier in the day. </div>

I absolutely love love celebrating our Anniversary together, we have been so lucky to have only missed being together for 2 out of the 8 years. Which being in the army life that's pretty rare. We've already talked about what we want to do to celebrate for the next two years and I can't wait!!! It was by far a fabulous weekend, we made so many wonderful memories. I cherish each and every moment we have together. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
We took the Westy out for our first Camping Adventure this past weekend at LBL also known as Land Between the Lakes. Its a pretty huge recreational area that sits going through TN and KY and yes you guessed it, its surrounded by water. Although just driving through at first you wouldn't know that. There's so so much to do at LBL, this was only our second time out there. The first time was last fall before the hubbs deployed and then we just made a day trip out of it and drove around checking out different areas and what there was to do and see.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
At the beginning of the week the hubbs mentioned going camping, kinda out of know where. I though it was kinda odd since we agreed we'd wait till we got the upholstery redone on the inside in a week or so. But hey, I didn't have school that weekend and we didn't really have any other plans so I mean why not. We booked a camp sight not really knowing where it was located and went with it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Friday since the hubbs was off work he picked up a few things we needed to our little adventure. Also trying to see if could get the stove in the Westy looked at. It runs off propane and we are 100% sure it works and well frankly we don't want to cause any damage trying to start / light it. Not having any luck with the local shops here we decided we'd just get a little camping stove to take along with us. We'd planned on buying one at some point any how, so it worked out. He spent the rest of the afternoon loading up the Westy and getting everything ready, so when I got home I just had to change and we could head out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UG1VwWLFdrs/Vi0iOonh96I/AAAAAAAASTU/AderfUdJmB8/s1600/IMG_1572.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UG1VwWLFdrs/Vi0iOonh96I/AAAAAAAASTU/AderfUdJmB8/s320/IMG_1572.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On our way there it was raining, it had been raining the whole afternoon but I had hopes that since our camp ground location was on the opposite end of LBL that we'd be fine and that we where it had cleared out just shortly before we arrived. Although since it was the first time driving her out in the rain we did notice a leak in the sky light / sunroof on the top. It wasn't horrible but something we need to add to our todo list for sure.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once we arrived and set up "camp" we started up a fire and made some dinner. Chicken Noodle Soup it was. We bought on of those packets that you simply add boiling water to and let it cook in the bag for so long and TADA its done!!! We enjoyed our first meal in the Westy followed by Hot Chocolate and S'mores over a nice little camp fire. I set up the inside bed while the hubbs and pups relaxed and took in the night stars. It was absolutely beautiful out there, so calm and peaceful. It was so nice to be away. We had no cell phone reception which was nice because we where able to disconnect from the world and really spend time with each other.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-M4isdEEjUIQ/Vi0iRKk-AZI/AAAAAAAASTc/BJqwHVcqwRU/s1600/IMG_1588.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-M4isdEEjUIQ/Vi0iRKk-AZI/AAAAAAAASTc/BJqwHVcqwRU/s400/IMG_1588.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm the mean on between the two of us, I wouldn't let the pups sleep with us that night. I mean come on the bed is pretty much the size of a full size bed and when you have a 115lb dog and a 45lb dog plus the two of us that's quite a bit on one bed. We turned the passenger seat around and Dingo slept up there and I brought a old blanket and Bailey slept on the floor. Everyone made out fine and they didn't seem to butt hurt. Plus I really wasn't wanting them on our brand new bedding we had just bought. The hubbs took the night shift in letting them out to potty, because you know they just had to go. So, I kindly got kicked out of bed for the morning shift to take them out, and boy was it chilly. Lucky for him I had to use the restroom myself so other wise I would have not gotten my butt up outta bed.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-b1fHIUvOYEQ/Vi0iSoqIGFI/AAAAAAAASTo/AiGAxQgoLno/s1600/IMG_1591.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-b1fHIUvOYEQ/Vi0iSoqIGFI/AAAAAAAASTo/AiGAxQgoLno/s400/IMG_1591.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We spent the morning making breakfast over our little camp stove and enjoyed the crisp fall air. Shortly after breakfast we decided to take the pups on a little walk about the camp grounds and explore the area some more. It was such a beautiful place, and the views of the lake at some of the camp sites where amazing. We definitely made note on a few sites we'd like to book in the future. After our walk we lounged around a bit, the hubbs rode his bike up to local store to check it out and over heard one of the workers about a walking trail. So we decided to leash up the pups again and take them for a walk. They did really good and lucky for them got in lots of extra exercise through out the day. Once we got back to our campsite I decided to fix lunch, Guacamole Shredded Chicken in Pita Bread with a Apple / Grape Salad. It was so tasty!!!! The hubbs decided he was going to be lazy and take a nap so I went for a nice little bike ride around the camp grounds, checking out the other side that we hadn't walked. 45 minutes later I finally made my way back. That's when the hubbs decided he was gonna go for a ride. We could have gone together but We really didn't wanna leave the pups alone in the Westy. I took advantage of the bed to myself and took a little nap. It was the best, I just laid there with the door open and even let the pups lay on the bed with me. Shocker I know!! When he got back he had the wild idea to go get ice cream at the general store up the road. We made it a family outing and the pups walked up with us, I had brought with us some special treats for them so I took a couple with us so they could enjoy something while we where eating our ice cream.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
We lounged around a bit more that afternoon, played with a wooden airplane the hubbs had bought and decided we head back that evening, instead of early in the morning as planned. (hubbs had to be in Nashville super early Sunday morning) Not before dinner over our campfire, Chili Hot Dogs. I couldn't even tell you the last time I ate a hotdog, let alone a Chili Hotdog. Not my thing but there's something about camping that brings them out and makes it ok to eat. Of course since we had a fire going we had to make up some S'mores. It's not a camping trip without stuffing your with the yummy goodness of chocolate and marshmallows smushed and melted between two graham crackers.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
It was the perfect way to end our much needed relaxing little get away.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We even took a different way home that evening so we were able to see a new to us part of KY and it was such a beautiful drive. I can't wait to go back out camping and for all the fun adventure we have ahead of us in our Westy!!!! </div>
