As much as I hate love hate doing the board, I love the way it turns out in the end.
My favorite part is the 3D tree on the end.
I'm not so creative when it comes to bulletin boards but it all came together pretty well.

Gone Fishin!!!!

After we all decided to wake up this morning and get moving we headed down to the lake for a picnic and some fishing. I am a city girl all the way around when it comes to fishing. I can't even tell you the last time I went fishing let alone held a pole in my hand. I don't even eat any type of sea food why would I wanna go fishing. But strangely enough I was looking forward to our outing. Maybe because of the company, the beautiful day out or just the simple fact that it was something different for me. After enjoying some nice yummy sandwiches we headed down to the water. The older two girls were saying how they were going to put their own worm on the hook and Adam didn't believe they would. So what do I do.....I told them I'd give them $5 bucks if they did it. Well yall let me tell you I'm $10 in debt to a 7 & 8 year old.

Although none of us caught any fish it was still nice and relaxing to sit out in the sun and enjoy the day.   The current was pretty strong which kept bringing our lines back in, so I don't think that helped much. I  think I would have had a slight panic attack if I would have caught a fish so its probably a good thing.

Alisha was trying to cast her pole out into the lake and well she kinda missed hooking Crystal in the back. It wasn't hard enough were the hook went through her shirt or anything but there was a wormy on the end of it. EWH EWH!!!!

Anna & Chy bug enjoying some fishin on this beautiful day!!!

Chy & I were fishing together for a bit and she was giving me some pointers on what to do.Seriously this kid is gonna be a pro when she gets older. Just like her daddy, loves getting out and getting dirty. Nothings gonna stop her. I've seriously missed spending time with her and watching her grow up.

I hooked some moss in the water and Alisha was so kind to help me get it off. When it comes to fishing I'm a girly girl 100% and I think my fingers should not touch any of that gooey nasty stuff. You can say I'm a bit over the top and that's just fine by me. Don't worry Adam gave me plenty of crap for it.

After us girls did our fair share of fishing we headed up to the park area. Crystal & I had loads of fun spinning the girls on the marry go round. I even had a little "swing out" with Alisha to see who could go the highest. Chy bug had so much fun on the swing and kept telling her momma to push her more it was to cute.

I'm loving getting to know the older two and hanging out with them they are so stinkin cute. Full of spunk & bubbly personalities that put a smile on any ones face. I'm gonna be pretty bummed come Wednesday because that's when they go back to their mommas.

Later this evening we grill some burgers and dogs while the kiddos jumped on the trampoline. Crystal & I stayed up well past midnight again talking. I hate that we live so far away now, sure we have the Internet and phone chats to keep in touch but its just not the same. I am definitely soaking up every ounce of time I have here.

oh the joys

The joys of working with little kids means that sometimes you will pick up their crummy germs. We had a little boy in our class yesterday come down with pink eye and long story short the mom though it was just allergies. Which it very well could have been but for this lil one it wasn't. We washed, bleached and sanitized everything down like crazy in hopes to disinfect the classroom so no one else would get it. A friend of mine got it when she lived in Hawaii and it was awful, I remember how much pain she was in, not a pretty sight.
WELL GUESS WHAT!!!!!!! Today at work when we were out for a walk one of my co-workers brought to my attention that my left eye was blood shot red and semi swollen. I had been rubbing it all morning because it was inching but never thought twice about it. LIGHT BULB went off right then and there, hello Tiffany!!!! NO, I replied as I ran in to the bathroom to check it out. YUP, sure enough my eye was so red. I freaked I can't get pick eye not now not ever. I have a big week ahead of me plus I don't want to have to use my vacation days from work to stay home. (I'd rather save them for when I have something planned.)

After showing a couple different staff members my eye they all agreed it looked like the start of pink eye. I was freaked, I stopped rubbing it and sucked up the itchiness. The redness started to go away which was a sign of relief but I was still worried. By noon this is what my left (infected) eye looked like. Much better than 2 hours before.

Here is a picture of my right eye that wasn't infected at all. Thankfully, as you can see from the good eye its really not super bad, Not yet any ways. I was able to make a appointment and get in to see the doctor today. I couldn't chance it to see what would happen, not to mention I didn't want to be miserable for the next however many days it takes to run through your system.

I'm not one to go to the doctor unless there is something really really wrong with me. The hubbs is the same way, I've been this way all my life. I hate going to the doctor, not really sure anyone loves it though. After a long hour which included waiting in the pharmacy for medicines I was diagnosed with pink eye. The doctor I saw said that I caught it early enough were it wasn't to bad and it should clear up in a matter of days. As long as I put the cream on my eye 3 times a day. I was so worried that I was going to have drops, I simply CAN'T do drops no questions there. Its horrible I remember as a kid my mom having to hold me down just to put them in my eye to help with my horrible allergies. I just knew I was going to have to have the hubbs do the same thing. What a relief though I can be a big girl and do this all on my own. :)

I loved hated having to spend my lunch hour + some at the hospital today but in the long run I know it was worth it. If I would have waited just a single day it could have been much worse.

Comment from the hubbs~ DON'T GIVE ME PINK EYE, stay away and don't touch me with your infectiousness. Love you to babe!!! I know he means well!!!

New Opportunities

DAY 46
Taking a different road

A different road that frankly didn't end up lasting long at all. I started my new job at Well's Fargo this morning and was really excited about it. The hours were great the pay was nice, the down fall to it was that I'd have to work Sundays and have split days off Tuesdays & Saturdays. I had gotten over that and figured I'd give it a chance. I worked at CitiCards about 4-5 years ago in their credit card customer service department so I was familiar with the job. I had just been out of the loop for a bit. Offering full time hours which I wouldn't beat 5:30am-2:30pm perfect!!!
I had spoken with the director at the Day School were I was working about a week & half prior and explained that I would be leaving and it might be that I wouldn't come back after Thanksgiving break. I was able to get into the early class and so I sent a emailed on Thursday to explain what was going on and then once again on Monday during our first break I called to make sure my email was received. Lets just say I don't think it was read yet from the response I got back. A long story short I was given the option to come on full time come the first of the new year. That was great but the pay difference was still a issue, so I asked about that as well. There was no way I could leave WF even with it being full time. Later that afternoon I received a email with the details on the new position & the pay that would be included. I talked with Gabe about it when we both got home & I told him after the first day of training at the bank I was just not into it and didn't want to go back down that road. I wasn't in love and overly excited about it any more. He told me that I could do what I wanted and he would support me either way I chose he just wanted me to be happy. (w/ a full time job that I enjoyed as well vs. part time) He said he didn't care about the pay that wasn't what mattered, I swear he always knows just what to say. Following my heart doing what I love I decided to stay at the school and accept the position offered.
I've been putting a lot of though into going back to school to be a teacher, maybe start out as a teachers aide or a sub and then go up from there. Only time will tell I mean I don't have anything to loose and it's not like there is anything stopping me.
I am happy with my decision and truly believe it was the right one. (plus its about 10 minutes from the house vs. 20 minutes like the bank was.)

HaPpY HaLlOwEeN :)

Halloween this year was by far one of the best. What started off as a pretty chill day turned in to run run go go. From lunch at Chick~Fil~a, shopping at Party City (the day of Halloween ahhh) a stop a Wal mart & then home to start cooking and finish decorating.
While Angela & I tackled the inside food and drink prep of the party, Austin and his friends finished setting up the outside and getting it super spooktacular. I think they had just as much fun setting up as they did scaring all the little kids.
Once everything was in place and everyone was dress we noticed that one family member was missing. I'll let you take a wild guess as to whom that was.....CHLOE.
Through all the kaoss she managed to make her way out the front door, (mind you that was open) past about 10 Jr high boys. We were all in a panic, walking up and down the street in the dark calling her name. How she got past all the boys we have no idea. But as we were walking up and down the street calling her name a family walked out of their house and asked "are you looking for a dog???" My first though was "no, we are just walking down the street calling for (heck I don't know)" so we say yes, and the lady replies "oh, we have her in the garage." Angela was not to happy that they put her in the garage but relieved that she had her back. We quickly made our way back home and put Chloe away and all was good from there.

From the loads of food we made and the pizza to the drinks that Cindy got we were set. I wished so bad that Jared could have been here to join in on the fun as well because I know he would have had so much fun.

Just hanging out with best friends a girl could ask for in the greatest state ever made for the best Halloween EVER. I wasn't planning on dressing up but the excitement suckered me in, I just love all Halloween.
Here is a small sneak peak of our unforgettable evening :) I made a bunch of new friends that just made the night even better. It's never a dull moment when Angela & I get together.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO EVERYONE, WE TRULY HAD A BLAST AND MADE MEMORIES THAT WILL LAST A LIFE TIME. I AM SUPER STOKED ALREADY ABOUT NEXT YEARS HALLOWEEN ADVENTURES!!!!!
