MELE KALIKIMAKA

This is by far the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!!!!!!!!We are so BLESSED to be together and enjoying this time that we have in such a beautiful place. Since Jared & I have been together we have always been apart during the Holiday season so being together this year has been extra special for the both of us. We started the morning off by opening the gifts we had gotten for each other as well as the ones that our family had sent us from back home.
I got Jared a bunch of car cleaning stuff and a GPS Garmin for work along with some fun yummy treats and a bunch of other goodies. He was in love with every thing he got. Even the work out stuff for at home, he's going to have a gym in our house before to long.SCORE, I did good this year. :)

He got me my new Sony Camera of course that he gave me a couple weeks ago along with loads of new Fiestaware. Four new place settings and silverware & a cake pan. He also got me a Wii w/ a few games. Gabe really has been enjoying the Wii, it's funny the games he got for it, he was keeping himself in mind as well. hee hee

We kinda went all out I guess you could say, seeings its our FIRST Christmas together since we have been together and we may not be together next year.
After digging into all our gifts we made a feast of a breakfast just for the two of us that included Eggs, Bacon and Homemade Oatmeal pancakes with Banana-Walnut Syrup. It was so good and we were both so stuffed after.

After breakfast we cleaned up the house from the wrapping paper and box explosion and went on to some baking. I made my very first Apple Pie along with Peanut Butter Fudge Brownie Bars to take over to our friends Jason & Rae's house. (we were going over there for Christmas dinner & we took dessert along with a side dish) I made my moms famous Mexicorn casserole dish as well.

Then off to the beach it was. I wanted to be able to say I went to the beach on Christmas Day. Now how often do you get to say that, & who knows if we are going to be here next year. We headed out and down to Dillingham it was. We walked around a bit watched the waves but it was super windy and a bit drizzly so back to the house it was.

We tested out the Wii for a bit and YES I still SUCK. This is going to take some getting use to and figuring out.
We headed over to Jason & Rae's house for dinner along with his parents late this afternoon. It was nice to have a Christmas dinner and not have to really do any of the work. :) I love cooking and baking but every once in a while a break is good. The fellowship and laughter with everyone was great. My first year away from any of my family for Christmas and all went well. Dinner was AWESOME, so so good. The Turkey was some of the BEST Turkey I had ever had. Everyone love the Brownies I made as well as the pie turned out just perfect. :)

After we ate we quickly said our good byes and headed home.

We had a 8:00pm date downtown to see STOMP. We stopped by the house (thankfully) to let the pups out for a bit and put our left over dishes in the frig. When I went in to let out Dingo and Bailey they didn't get all excited like they normally do which was really off for them. I looked down in Dingo's kennel and he had gotten so sick in his kennel and threw up every were. UGH!!!! Not only were we rushing to begin with but now we have to stop and wash him up and clean out his kennel. This is so not normal for him so we were a bit worried. He was crunched down in the corner and it looked so sad. After we cleaned everything up we were out the door on our way. A stop at the 24 hr shoppette, & after much talking we just weren't ok with leaving him in his kennel for another 2 or 3 hours. So we decided to call my friend Rae to see if she wanted to go see STOMP with me tonight so Gabe could stay home with our sick baby. She was more than happy to go. I was really bummed that he wasn't going to be able to go but it was for the best. We wanted to make sure that Dingo was ok and that if he did get sick again in his kennel.
We had a blast at the show, the energy that they put off and the excitement was so thrilling. It just makes you want to get up and start dancing around with them :)

All in All this has been the most AMAZING Christmas EVER, not only because of the gifts or the food or being in Hawaii but being with Gabe. I couldn't have asked for a better gift. He is my heart and soul and at the end of the day you can't put a price tag on how much his love and friendship means to me. He is truly the most amazing gift I have ever been given and I think God every day for putting such a amazing man in my life.

I can't wait to see what the next year brings and how we will grow stronger as a couple. With each and every passing day we grow closer and closer to each other. Today was the Cherry on top of the most precious year ever.
I LOVE YOU BABY & AM SO HAPPY TO BE WITH YOU. WE ARE TRULY BLESSED TO HAVE EACH OTHER.

Happy Birthday LOVE!!!

The morning started off on a good foot, and the day just keeps getting better & better. Today is my Love's birthday and well last night he & his buddy Jason had CQ at the company area, lucky for them both they have today off. HIS BIRTHDAY!!!!

Last night I totally vegged out & cleaned up the house a bit (not that its ever in a mess or dirty)& got his gifts together on the front table for when he came home.
I work up some what early this morning thanks to the dog, and was down stairs messing around on the computer when I looked at the time & thought "I should take the guys donuts since its Gabe's bday". I new just were to go get his favorite ones to. At the Shoppette, Strawberry iced. So off Dingo & I went (yes yes, i took the dog to wish Gabe a happy bday morning) to the shoppette, we grabbed a few donuts & some for Jason to and a Rock Star for my love and headed up to the company area.
He had no idea that I was coming & I hadn't talked to him yet this morning it was only 7:00am so it was gonna be a super surprise.
As we headed up stairs Dingo was greeted by a old co-worker of Gabe's, Erik a quick Hello and then off we went to the training room. There he was sitting my poor Love so so tired from being up all night, but as soon as he saw me walk in it was like he was so awake and happy and surprised to see me there. After loving on Dingo for a bit giving him his breakfast & one of his gift's (a $50.00 gift card to game stop) I headed back home, he still had another 2 hours of work & then he would be off for the next 3 days YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally my boo was home, greeted at the door by Dingo and then rushed in to see the rest of his goodies. On top of the $50.00 game stop gift card I had already given him this morning I also got him the PLAYSTATION Eye (which is a super awesome web cam. we can use on the TV, so yes it benefits me as well lol) and a new game Nightclub Los Angeles. He was so happy he has wanted the camera for awhile now & the game he enjoyed playing it at a friends house so I new it would go over well. Off to shower and bed he went to rest up for a night on the town. Poor thing was pooped after a long long day at work.

After a nice long nap, Gabe decided to get up & well if you know him at all I'm sure you know just what he did when he got up. He opened up the PS3 Eye cam. & set it all up. Its so neat, I'm just as excited about it as he is. (we have a friend who's birthday is coming up & now we know just what to get them) And of course he put in the new game to play. Boy's & their toys, he is so funny when he plays because he gets all in to it & if he dies or looses he gets so mad and starts complaining & yelling at the TV. That's when I step in & remind him that it is just a game.

Shortly after playing a bit of PS3 we got dresses and headed downtown to Waikiki to meet up with Jamie & Anthony of course. Whats a dinner with out then :), we all met up at Red Lobster. I was starving and couldn't wait to dig in to some yummy food. Thankfully there was no wait and we were able to get right in. WOW, a Friday night in HNL that's not normal.

We stuffed our faces with appetizers & their yummy biscuit's and salad, when the main course came I was starting to get full already but that wasn't gonna stop me. I ordered their Cajun Chicken Pasta....I know I know chicken at a sea food restaurant well I don't eat sea food. We had all talked about dessert before & how good they looked but once it came time to order we were all way to full to even try. However whats a birthday with out a little sweet treat. So we broke down and order 3 different desserts to share around the table. OMG, at this point I am so overly stuffed, but every thing was oh so so good. I don't like sea food but boy do I love Red Lobster. Gabe just enjoyed every bit of it and finished off one of the desserts all on his own.

We decided to head back to post and meet up with some other friends who were up at the bowling alley and play a game or two. When we got there I had no intention of playing I was just going to watch and visit that was my plan and I stuck to it. Some how someone talked my love in to playing. Once he got started you could see it he was having so much fun. It was his birthday, we were together, and hanging out with some of his close friends that he has here in Hawaii.

After a round of cosmic bowling we decided to call it a night and every one parted ways and headed home.
It truly was a magical day and I am so happy that we will be spending all of our birthdays together from here on out. I couldn't imagine it any other way.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVE, YOU ARE MY WORLD AND I LOVE YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART,
ALWAYS AND FOREVER AND THENSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE COMPLETE Each other & we have found a Love that is ever lasting!!!!

HaPpY "23" tO mE !!!!!

I Knew it was going to be the BEST day ever before I even woke up. Because well it was My Day, My Birthday. I couldn't believe it "23" years young YEAH!!!!!!!!
Gabe came home from PT & made breakfast biscuits, gravy & eggs...yummy in my tummy.
Then he headed back out for a day of work while I hung out at the house.
After what seemed like forever waiting, our HHG's were finally being delivered (the shipment that was sent to Germany). Up bright and early to straighten up the house, the movers were suppose to be here between 8am & 9am. Well they ended up not showing till almost after 10:30am, I was so frustrated because I could of slept in that much longer. But oh well, it was here finally after 4 1/2 months. 7~boxes & 2~bicycles.
I quickly unpacked box by box, and it was like I had tons & tons of birthday presents, so much stuff we had forgot that we had and boy I so did not remember having that many picture frames. LOL. Finally after everything was in its place and every last picture was hung and the Dinning room table redone, my Love came home from work for the day, I was so happy because it was only 3pm, 2 early days in a row YEAH!!!!! Not to bad at all.

He came walking in and I was sitting on the stairs wrapping up a few things and didn't even notice he was standing there with a vase of Roses in his hand (there was 3 roses 1=our past together, 1=our present together & 1=our future together)and a card. AWH.....he is so amazing, I'm so head over heels in love with him.

After showing him all the new fun stuff we had from the HHG's we quickly showered and headed out for dinner.

I had decided a while back that I wanted to go to OutBack Steak House for my Birthday Dinner, and so off we went. Our friends Jamie & Anthony and their two lil. girls were meeting us there as well. Chowing down on so yummy steak, I didn't leave one bite left on my plate. I was so stuffed once it was time to leave, but whats a birthday with out dessert????

Nothing really caught my eye on their dessert menu so we all decided to go to Cold Stone. I love being able to pick a ice cream and have all different kinds of fun, yummy treats put in side. I got French Vanilla ice cream with Oreo's and gummy bears mixed in & sprinkles in top since it was My Day.

After finishing up our ice cream, since we were already at the mall we decided to walk around a bit and see what we could find, Gabe ended up getting 2 new shirts and a pair of shorts at Pac Sun that look super hot on him I must say and well, a few stores down they had the most gorges dress ever in the window and I had to go back and take a peek. And well I have you know they had one in PINK, just my size. I was so excited and quickly picked it up and was on my way. Nothing like ending a already amazing day with a great buy. It's so cute and I can't wait to wear it.

My Birthday was so special this year, I received so many cards from family and friends, my super awesome purse & new table from my love and not to mention the hundreds of dollars in cash & gift cards to Target & American Eagle I got.
BUT.....the best gift of all was being home in the same place with MY LOVE, there is nothing like being able to celebrate my birthday with My Best Friend in my arms. I truly am one luck girl to have such an amazing, loving, caring husband and I wouldn't change him for the world.
