On our way back to the Spouses house we made a pit stop in Southern West Virginia. Over looking the New River Gorge. It was established in 1978 as a unit of the National Park System. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, a perfect day, clear sky's and totally breath taking. Its home to the worlds best whitewater rafting. Its one of the most popular climbing areas on the east coast with over 1,400 established rock climbs. I could have sat there for a good hour or more taking in the view. I bet you could see some pretty amazing sunrise's from the look out area we were at.
|Just hanging out no big deal.|
We were just taking in the view, sitting on the edge of the cliff. No telling how high up we were, I didn't pay attention to that part but it was HIGH let me tell you that much.
