Patio Lunchin

I feel like this scrumptious tasty lunch deserves a post all on its own, it was that good. So simple but one of my favorite summer time dishes. Well really I'll chow down on one any time of the year. You just can't go wrong with a tasty veggie loaded sammy. Hands down I'd much rather go to a Deli and have a delicious sandwich then go to any fast food joint for awful greasy foods. 

What's even better is a freshly homemade sammy!!!!

(aside from Chick-Fil-A, I'll alway LOVE me some Chick-Fil-A) 

I started my morning off bright and early. Not on purpose that's just how the cookie crumbled. I guess when your body is so used to getting up between 4:45 and 5:00am every morning to workout before heading to school, 6:00am becomes sleeping in. I woke up at one point and the sun was already shinning through my windows. I checked the clock figuring it was probably close to 7-ish. NOPE, it was only 5:45am. The heck with that I rolled back over and closed my eyes. A bit later I woke up again, checking the clock it was 6:07am. What in the world, I laid there for a bit browsing through social media on my phone before I bit the bullet and got my butt outta bed. Figured I might as well get up and get moving. The sooner I did, the sooner I would have my workout done for the day. 

Saturday Morning Plan:

-make & chill Shakeology in the freeze for post w/o

-workout - 21 DFX Dirty 30 

-farmers market- by 8-ish, to beat the crowd

-commissary - meat & beans for this week's dinner

-home - lunch and relaxing and a little tv watching

-enjoy my last free Saturday - school starts next week (T / TH / S)

-pups - walk the pups sometime in there

My morning went a little different then planned. But it was well worth it!! 

-Shakeology made and chilling in the freezer

-21 DFX Dirty 30 w/o done

-cleaned the whole house, (wasn't really on the agenda for the day) but so so glad its done

-vacuumed up & down stairs, dusted & wiped everything down, bathrooms bleached, laundry done & put away, bed sheets washed and made, trash taken out, counters & sink cleaned

-farmers market w/ Shak-O in hand- went to our local FM which is super close & stocked up on my veggies for the week

-Hop-town FM - wanted to check out another FM I found via FB a few days ago. From the pictures it looked pretty good. Figured I'd make the drive (ruffly 25-30 mins later) out, so not worth it at all. It was crazy small and not a good variety to choose from. You live and learn right. 

- commissary - though I had two packs of ground turkey in the freezer, nope only one. I needed a second one for a chili I'm making for this week's dinner, wanting to double it to freeze some. I needed a few can's of beans but could pick them up at the local family store near my house. Going to the commissary on payday weekend is not ideal for me. But I refuse to go to Walmart. 

Told myself I was going to make this a quick in and out trip and get just what I needed and that I did. Surprisingly it wasn't to bad but still didn't wanna get stuck in there longer then I had to. 

The point behind the post, MY LUNCH. 

I got home put everything away, already knowing what I was planning on making for lunch I got to work. It was already a quarter to 1:00 & I was a bit starved. But let me tell you it was well worth the wait. 

Toasted Whole Wheat Grain Toast- lightly peppered topped w/ some FM finds: sliced tomatoes, fresh lettuce leaves, 3 slices of turkey & 3 sliced of ham followed by another layer of sliced tomatoes & lettuce, topped w/ another toasted piece of Whole Wheat Grain Toast & a side of sliced Gala Apples. (no dressing or sauce, it wasn't needed didn't wanna take away from the goodness)

It was amazing, I could seriously eat this every day and never get tired of it. Already looking forward to having it again for tomorrows lunch. I might even add on some boiled eggs. 

Best part is I have plenty of meat and veggies left to make roll-up's with to take for lunch this next week. (no bread)

Following the 21 DFX Nutrition Guide this would equal- 1-red, 2-yellow, 1-green, 2- purple 

Well worth it if I do say so myself. 

My Week Flash Back

My week in review through Instagram, seriously I mean who doesn't LOVE Instagram. 

Monday was a run day!! I have to toot my own horn I'm getting stronger and stronger on my runs. It's a wonderful feeling. It doesn't happen over night but I will get there, one step.....one run at a time. 

 Tuesday I met up with 3 other wives from our company for dinner at the local Pizza Joint. Its by far the hubbs and I's favorite pizza place in the area. We all try to get together at least once and month and just catch up outside of the company / BCT life on the trail. The company was great, the food was fabulous the laughs were endless and I can't wait to do it again. Before we left I called the hubbs to see if he wanted dinner, since he was staying out in the field over night for their FTX (field training exercise). With two of the other wives husbands out there we just decided to get them a whole pizza to share. 20 inches of pure yummy goodness right there. This thing is so so BIG and so so good!!!!

 Tuesday night I also registered for the Color Run that is coming to the South the beginning of March. I'm super excited, it was here twice in my area last year and I was out of town both days. Not this time around. I first saw the Color Run on Pinterest a bit ago and knew it had to be on my "To Do Race List". I will definitely be doing it for fun and just to have a good time with it (not time at all), seeing's I'll be running my 1st Half Marathon a week later. I don't want to take any chances in hurting myself or causing any injuries. 

Wednesday after our run I came home and hung out with the hubbs in his office / disaster of a room while he reloaded ammo. I was totally not feeling the need to cook dinner at all, I was being lazy and enjoyed just lounging around chatting with him. You ever have those days were nothing sounds good, you don't wanna cook but you don't want take out either?!?!? Yea that was this girl right here. 

Isn't he just a doll face, :) I sure do think so. I love his blue eyes to!!! I lost interest in hanging out in the man-cave mess of a office when his "manpanion" called and they started talking guns. "See ya" I'm gonna go figure out dinner on that note. Love you boo!!! 

Friday I came home to a box from the Mistress on my front porch. I have such fabulous friends, that know the way to my heart. Isn't she so sweet, chocolates, a wine glass, comfy socks and a cute shirt with a little bit of nail color. What more do I need for a perfect Friday night when the hubbs has CQ. Well maybe a bottle of wine to go along with it. :) 

Sunday after our long run that was suppose to be 6 miles that turned into 9.5 miles I was definetly feeling a little bit of pain in my left lower leg. I treated myself to lunch and came home and took the rest of the day off. Not at all how I had intended to spend the rest of the day but thankfully I have tomorrow off as well. Thank You MLK!!! Icy Hot & Sweet Tea a cure for just about anything!!!! 

Lunch Treat!!!

I can't say enough about how blessed I've been to work for such a awesome school. The girls I work with are great. They've really welcomed me in and shown my the ropes of the school and the in's & out's. The kiddo's are absolutely adorable and cute as a button. Sometimes I catch myself wanting to pack them away in my bag and bring them home. The parents are AMAZING!!!!!! They go above and out of their way for us, teachers. We take care of their sweet babies all day and they sure do know how to return the favor. Today one of our mom's (who I've happen to become friends w/ outside of school) brought us lunch. How freaking sweet is she to do that!!! Back up to yesterday.....her granny fell and broke her hip. So she was having surgery today way across town. Her daughter (who's in my class) was having tubes put in her ears today, so she wasn't at school. Yet she still finds the time to stop by when she didn't even have a reason to be up there just to bring us lunch. We were having a great day, it was going really smooth and she just added a cherry on top. I am reminded every day one way or another why I stayed at EDS vs. leaving last November. It's a great school with great parents and great staff. I know I say all the time how I can't wait to move away from here and go on to our next duty station but I know I'll miss school / work. I've worked my way up to a lead teacher in such a short amount of time and I think I'm actually the youngest lead at the school. I'm quite proud of myself and my class. It's nothing at all like the CDC on a military installation. In fact its a million times better. It's going to be hard to find a school that's even remotely close to EDS when we do move. I can't believe we are already half way through the 2012-2013 school year. Summer's gonna be here before to long, crazy!!!!! I love what I do!!!!! 

Lunch Break

I was invited out to lunch today by a co-worker and I passed......thank goodness I did because I came home to this!!!!!! 

After a long 30 something hours at work (he had CQ the day before, 4am Monday - 9am Tuesday) he only managed to sleep two hours when he got home this morning. When I walked in from work he had lunch made and we spent the next hour & half cuddling on the couch together. :) I love this man so so much, I just wish we had more time together. Right now he's so busy with work and frankly it SUCKS :(. I'll take what I can get though because I know it could be MUCH worse.

Lunchin w/ a bit of Art

Today at work we had our Teacher Appreciation / Thank You lunch from the EDSPO ~ Parent Organization. The PO is very similar to PTA in a public school, they are the ones that help organize different events and what not that go on through out the year. 

Lunch was catered by Pasta Fresca, the local Italian Restaurant I've mentioned before. (same one I got the gift card for :) There was 3 different pastas, salad, lasagna, garlic bread, cookies and SWEET Tea. I surely didn't leave hungry and best part is, I still had my whole lunch hour to get things done I needed to take care of. Along with our lunch we were given yet another gift card to Target :) as well as a Tumbler with our initial on it. It was a thank your gift from them to us, I've said it before and I'll say it again "I work for such a great school".

This evening I had plans to attend a Company Social (with non other than Alpha Co., we are Delta Co but they don't do a darn thing, A Co has always included us in their outing.) We were meeting up at Mad Platter (a local art studio) to do a little painting. I've been wanting to go ever since I found out about the place back when we first got here, I've just ever had the chance to. A quick example of what you do ~~~~ you pick out a piece of art weather it be a dish, character, wall hanging, doggie bowls, magnets, etc. There are literally tons of items to choose from to paint and then you have your choices of paint colors to use. They even have confetti paint which was way cool, books and books of stencils and stamps as well. Then you go to ton designing your own personal piece how ever your little heart desires. I chose a serving dish as my piece because I wanted something I could use all the time. I started off with stenciling our last name in the center and quickly decided I didn't like it. Thankfully the marker burns off when its sealed. Its not perfect by any means and I know I could have done way way better but for my first time I have to say not to bad. Now that its done you leave it there and they do something called a firing seal. This seals off the paint and brightens the colors (so they will be much more colorful then pictured below) allowing the paint to last for years and years to come. I already have plans to go again and paint a little something for a care package I'm working on. I would have done it tonight but we ran out of time. I had so much fun with the girls tonight it was a small group of us, 3 other spouses, a Drill SGT & the Company Commander. Because the unit is coed (which I'm still getting use to) S who coordinates all of these things included the female soldiers in the company to join.

A "Me" Day!!!

                                                             I took a much needed me day to get somethings taken care of before the summer semester started. You see I've already got my vacation days for summer planned out, so that leaves me with nothing. Unfortunately our vacation days from the school year do not roll over to summer. Its a use it or loose it kinda thing. Well you don't really loose it you get paid for those hours you have left but its not your normal rate. ($7.50hr NO thank you) I started in January with 3 & 1/2 days of vacation (for the full year you get 7 days, I started half way through) and I've used my days very sparingly, only taking off when I needed to. I knew I'd be taking a lot off in the summer so I figured I'd save them if I could. The week before last I asked about how much time I had left, 11.25 hrs. not so shabby a day & half pretty much. I asked about them rolling over and that's when I found out it doesn't work that way.
I talked to the hubbs about it and we agreed if I could find a sub then I'd take the day off and get somethings done around the house. If I couldn't I just wouldn't worry about it and I'd get paid for the time I had left. Whelp I managed to find someone at the last minute for today (Friday) which worked out perfect because the hubbs had the day off as well. We've been so crazy busy this week that we have hardly spent any time together other than when we go to bed. lol
I woke up this morning to the hubbs cooking us breakfast, pancakes at that. Yummy, I was just planning on having a bowl of cereal but I'll take pancakes instead. We spend some time getting somethings picked up around the house and the back yard cleaned up. (it was much needed after all the rain we've gotten.) We ventured out to do a bit of shopping picking up a few things he needed for his class he is taking tomorrow. I finally used one of the gift cards I got my birthday and splurged on a new pair of TOMS. What can I say I'm a sucker for a new pair of shoes and I just can't say no to TOMS. Checking out a few other boutiques in the area I was able to pick up a little something for the Spouse and the hubby scored a new wallet. He's been on the search for one and we frankly he is kinda hard to please when it comes to that sorta things. Have you ever heard of the Mighty Wallet's they are pretty neat you should check them out. (The Mighty Wallets are made of a single folded sheet of strong micro fiber material that is tear & water resistant, super strong and last for a very long time. It doesn't have any stitching and is easily custom fitted. They offer many different collections as far as the theme you are wanting.) The store we got his from didn't have a big selection but he got one that fits him pretty well.

From there we went and grabbed a bite to eat at a new place to us. We are on this kick of trying new restaurants, kinda stepping out of our comfort zone. It turned out to be really good, we got in just in the nick of time to still partake in the lunch menu. We already had dinner plans to try a new place tonight so we wanted to eat light for lunch. We spent the rest of the afternoon at home, the hubbs cleaned his guns and I worked on a few projects. Later in the evening we had dinner at a newly opened Italian place up the street called Pasta Fresca. They recently moved locations and had their grand opening this past Monday night. Let me just say we were told it was better than Olive Garden and the locals don't lie. They know there stuff and it was fabulous!!!!! We ended the evening at a house warming party with a soldier that the hubbs went to D SGT school with. H and her family just PCSed here and invited us for the evening. She is a hoot let me tell you, thankfully I'd met her twice before tonight so I knew what to expect. So far the weekend is off to a great start just, today was just what we needed to get thing under way and some much needed US time. This week has been so busy and we haven't had much time together, so I was grateful the hubbs had the day off.

This afternoon we also picked up the hubbs picture. Each Drill SGT has their picture displayed in the bay so the BCT's know who their Drill SGT is. Isn't he so handsome, I think so!!!! I'm starting to really dig the campaign hat. lol.

I can't wait to head back to Texas here in a few (ok 5) months. One of my favorite chicka's is finally gettin hitched and I have the honor of being one of her bridesmaids.

Happy MiliSpouse Appreciation Day

I first just want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to all ALL my Milispouse bloggers out there and even the ones that aren't bloggers. Being a Military Spouse has got to be one of the hardest jobs. 

So we don't go off to war..........but we are left at home to tend to the family. 

We don't work the long hours.......but we go to sleep alone. 

Our life isn't put in danger daily, but we worry sick because our loved ones is. 

We never have 100% communication with our Soldier when we want.........so we take advantage of the moments we have together. 

We chuckle at others when they complain about their spouse being away for the weekend, and in our head we are thinking "I'd give anything to have them gone for just 3 days."

Our life must go on when they are away as well as our children's life and the rest of our family. 

We are the ones who pick up the pieces and put the puzzle back together when its fallen apart.

 We manage to hold it together when we think things couldn't get any worse and then they do. 

Being a Military Spouse ISN'T for everyone, it takes a STRONG person to fill those shoes. I'm so blessed to be one of them and for each and every Milispouse that has come into my life. 

It's a hard life packing up and moving every couple years, meeting new people, learning a new area, finding a new job, learning a new culture. 

As hard as it may be some times I WOULDN'T change it for the world. 

My Soldier had the day off today so we were able to celebrate MiliSpouse Appreciation Day by having lunch together at one of my favorite places. 

Zoes Kitchen, the hubbs had never been before so I was interested to see what he though. Thankfully he liked it which is good because I don't know what I would do if he didn't.

 (my Zoes lunch date friend may be leaving soon, it would be a bummer if I had to go alone. ) 

Speaking of lunch dates with the hubbs I've enjoyed them quite well randomly the last few weeks. I saddened knowing that they are soon going to end. Cycle break is almost over and its back to reality for the two of us, and life on the trail. I'm not looking forward to it at all.  The insanely long hours, weeks and weeks straight with not a single day off. NOT EVEN A WEEKEND DAY. I've tried to prepare myself for our first full cycle expecting the worse but I'm sure it will be a million times harder than think. Many people refer to it as a deployment the only difference is they aren't in a war zone and they come home at night. Only to shower, change, go to bed to get up in a few short hours to do it all over again. We have 22 months left (that sounds better than a year & 10 months

) on the trail, its a two year assignment. That is if they don't ask him to stay and teach a 3rd year at the Drill School. Even then I know for a fact he would do everything he could to get out of it. He is not at all excited about being a Drill SGT. I still have hope that it will change with time but right now it doesn't look promising.

Happy Valentines Day!!!!

With the Hubbs super crazy hours right now we decided we would celebrate Valentines Day today. I was totally fine with this because that mint a whole day worth of celebrating not just a dinner out some were Tuesday night. (because lets face it after we both get off work, home from the gym that's what it would have consisted of.)
Friday one of my coworkers mentioned this really neat General Store that I just had to check out. Just right downtown about 15 minutes from post, we decided to make that our first stop in todays adventure. When we first walked in I was a little thrown off because we were greeted with clothes, not what I was expecting. The further in we went making our way to the back of the store is when my frown turned upside down. It was the neatest store ever loads of kitchen knick knacks, some indoor & outdoor decor, jams, jellies, hot sauces, cookbooks, pottery, pet goodies, cookware, CANDY and so much more.

I would have loved to see the expression on my face when I walked into the candy department. With two many barrels to count overflowing with all different kinds of candy. There is something for everyone young and old. I probably walked the aisles of the candy section about 5 times, each time finding different candies that I didn't see before. I was literally a kid in a candy store again, I kept calling the Hubbs over showing him the different candies I found that I hadn't seen in forever. 

I came across these Coconut Slices they are my Papa's favorite candy. When we would drive to Houston to see him there was only one gas station that sold them. We always made sure to stop and buy the store out when they had them in stock. He loved us even more on those trips we came baring his candy. I quickly snagged a handful for him along with some of my moms favorite candy that they had. Some of the rare finds she likes are Big Hunks, Cherry Mash and Maple Nut bites. A single pound of candy is $5.99 doesn't seem like a lot so I decided to pick up a few of my favorites as well. They have these cute little candy boxes to put the candy in, which I got to send home to my mom with her goodies inside.

Of course I couldn't leave the kitchen section empty handed, that would be just wrong. They had some Fiestaware which all of it I already had minus a super snazzy tumbled lid for the tumbles I picked up in Texas. Not I can take my tea with me when we leave the house with out having to switch cups as I'm walking out the door. I can just pop on the matching lid. I also got a scoop for our sugar canister that was full of colors matching my Fiesta collection just perfect. I'm such a sucker for new & fun kitchen gadgets, I enjoy clothes & accessories shopping but if I had to pick I think I think kitchen shopping is my favorite.

One other piece I picked up that I had to have the minute I laid my eyes on was this cute "Welcome" Gnome. I though it would make the perfect addition to our front entry way and I was right. I don't know what it is about these little guys but I love them, this makes our 2nd one. The Spouse HaTeS them, I can't wait for her to come visit again & see this guy in person.
I was grinning ear to ear while we were in Mast General store, its two floors of pure goodness. I told the hubbs I don't know that I have been this happy since we moved here. He agreed and was just as into everything they had to offer as I was. I know we didn't cover half the store there was just so much to look at & see but we parked at a meter~less parking spot. (it was suppose to have a meter at it but didn't) We didn't want the Chally to get a boot put on it or towed for that matter, not to mention it was well after 1pm be time we felt and we were both hungry. We made our way to a ghetto little Mexican joint that we both really like, munching down on some chips & salsa, I was almost full before we got our main dish. That didn't stop us from ordering a Sopapilla, we were celebrating so of course we had to go all out. I was sadly disappointed though, when I think of sopapilla I think of a warm puffy dough like pastry drowned drizzled in honey. Not some flat, disk crunchy thing we got drizzled in chocolate. It was good and we didn't leave a drop on the plate but I was a tiny bit disappointed.

After lunch we continued our Valentines Day celebration by seeing "The Vow". I was so excited it just came out the night before and I couldn't wait to see it. Talk about perfect timing a super romantic movie right before Valentines Day. It was a fabulous movie and I'd go see it again in a heart beat. I will defiantly be purchasing this one when it comes out on DVD. I will admit at times I wanted to throw a brick at Paige's head because she was being so mean to her husband Leo but in a way she couldn't help it. I some how managed to hold back the tears but boy was it hard. Holding onto my loves hand through out the entire movie thinking of how lucky I am to have such an amazing man to live my life with. It definitely makes you live in the moment and not take life so serious. We aren't promised tomorrow nor the next hour for that matter. We always try to make the most of our time together when ever we can and this movie just reminded me to continue doing just that and MORE. The kinda love we have isn't just something that happened over night. Its built on years of joy and happiness that I wouldn't trade for anything.  

It's been a perfect Valentines Day I couldn't have asked for anything better. We did a little shopping, lunch and a movie. We didn't make a big deal of it but made sure we made time to celebrate our love for each other. Out of the 5 & an half years we've been together this is only the 2nd Valentines Day we have been home together to be able to enjoy it.

Total Regret

DAY 104

This morning my co-worker Elaine had a Sonic drink and breakfast french toast sticks that she was munching on through out the day. I kept eye balling her drink and thinking how badly I wanted a Large Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper with easy ice. This use to be my go to drink at Sonic before I moved to Hawaii and I would always get a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Toaster Sandwich cut in half with a side of Tater Tots. Since we've been back on the mainland I've only been to Sonic a couple times & that was in Texas, shocking I know right. Well I gave up soda almost a year ago now and I haven't touched one since. (FEB. 1st will be a year.) Other than the breakfast sandwich I've never really been one for there food. Shakes and Drinks yes. So there's not much of a reason for me to go there, plus trying to cut out greasy fast food is another reason to stay away. Other than Chick-Fil-A!!!!

 After we got our kids down for there nap the three of us were sitting around talking about fast food and soda and it only made me it that much more hungry. I was sold, I had to get Sonic for lunch I could taste it on the tip of my tongue, I wanted it that bad. I rushed over to drop off the rental car and picked up our Subaru thankfully I didn't have to wait long because I only had a hour. The body shop is about 15 minutes from were I work, add another 5-10 minutes there then a 15 minute drive back that left about 20 minutes for me to grab some lunch. I was still determined to get Sonic, I knew in my head I would hate myself for it afterwards but at the time I didn't care. 

I went with my old bacon, egg & cheese sandwich, a side of tater tots and a Oreo shake. I was in heaven.....well for about the next 25-30 minutes that is. After I got back to work I was totally feeling my lunch, my stomach felt try crap and I just knew I was going to be sick. I wanted to take back eating that horrifying "delicious at the time" lunch. But I couldn't, lesson learned and I will not be revisiting Sonic for any lunches.  Shakes maybe but that would be my only reason to go there, even then the location that is near us I very rarely pass by it so half the time I forget we have one here. 

Thankfully I had Zumba tonight so I was "hopefully" able to work off all that crap I had eaten. 

Crouching Lion Inn

After our trip to the Temple this afternoon we were a bit hungry. We decided to take the long way home. So a drive down the North Shore through the shrimp farms and so much more it was. I just love the scenery and view of the ocean on one side lined with different houses from old to new and then mom and pop shops and vendors on the other.

I love finding new local places to stop at and indulge in a freshly plate of local food.




Stopping for a bite to eat at the "Crouching Lion Inn". A little local place off the North Shore. Just as we pulled up a tour bus did as well, we quickly walked up to get a table before the mass of tourist did. We scored a table right on the end over looking the ocean it was an amazing view.


The food was tasty as well.
I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fresh french fries and Gabe got the kalua pork with pineapple coleslaw. Both were super yummy and we definitely stop in again.




They had chickens running around every chirping along with baby chick following behind. I could hear the waves crashing up against the shore and feel the wind blowing though my hair. It just reminded me of how much I love living here in Hawaii & never want to leave.

Lunch Date :) w/ My Lover!!!

After our fabulous day chilling out on the beach under the gorges sky we opted to take our date day just a bit more. A late lunch at a new place it was......Luibueno's Mexican Seafood & Fish Market. It replaced Rosie's Mexican Catina a little while back which was a sad day for us. We loved Rosie's, it was a nice quite Mexican joint in Haleiwa. Taco buffet on Tuesday nights was the best.
Now Luibueno's Mexican Seafood & Fish Market sits in its place, looks the same from the outside but once you step inside you completely forget your in Haleiwa. They have made it look like a up scale restaurant which I give them props for it is very charming. Looking through the menu I couldn't hardly pronounce any of the names of the items but the descriptions sounded really good. I decided on the Chicken Quesadilla which were SOOOO good, it came with two and I was only able to eat 1 1/2. Gabe went we a burrito that included rice & beans on the side. He wasn't as impressed as I was with his meal. Nor was he with his beer he got. The chips and salsa were GREAT we both dug right into them, but then again we are big chips & salsa people so what can I say. We ended lunch with Fried Ice Cream which was a taste of Heaven with a slice of fresh strawberries. OMG, I loved it and could of ate the whole thing by myself but Gabe & I split it. :)



I don't know that we would go back again for lunch or dinner, maybe for some Fried Ice cream but that would probably be about it. The price's were a bit high for the quality of food they severed and the serves as well. None the less it was good, a great afternoon lunch. Just not on our top list of returns. We enjoyed the day though, that didn't at all damper it in any way.

Lunch Time

I always feel like a kid again when I go eat lunch with my little cousin Shae. She is so much fun, I love sitting there and listening to all of her and her little friends talk back and forth about their day and what is going on. When I lived in Texas I would try to make it out to have lunch with her once ever other week or so just because I know she really enjoyed it. So of course that was on my to do list while I was here. I can not believe she is in 5th grade already this year. Seems like last year she just started kindergarten. Before I know it she is going to be in high school dating so guy and the off to collage. Ugh, the one thing I hate about living in Hawaii is missing out on everything here in Texas with my family. But one day we will move back and really be able to start our life here together and I CANT WAIT FOR THAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!


................................My other cousin lil. Robert is in preschool right now and so he only goes half days, so he was able to go with me one day to have lunch with Shae. He was super excited about going to the "big kid school", he will be going there next year so it was neat for him so see alittle bit of how things work when you go to school all day.
