Another one of our sunflowers finally bloomed.
I mentioned to the hubbs that next spring I want to plant even more seeds so we can have them growing all along the back of our house. I've never been one to LOVE sunflowers but I'm loving these. They are seriously as tall as me and still growing. The only sad thing is once they bloom they are kinda done for the season. We've got one more stalk growing that still has to bloom but I think we have a little while.
Do you have a favorite flower that you grow during the spring / summer time???
Any tips on the best our door flowers that are easy to maintain & come back year after year???

Gorgeous!! =) Sunflowers are a favorite of mine...my daddy would sing "You Are My Sunshine" to me when I was little and sunflowers just kind of went along with that. He sent me sunflowers a month before our wedding and wrote my a poem...it was so sweet. I love my daddy & sunflowers are "our thing." =)
