Life Lately!!!

Life has just been so busy here lately, well not even that but when I do get some down time to blog it seems as if 20 more things come up that I have to do or take care of. So here's a bit of a recap on what's been going on over the last month. 

*Proudly supporting the Gamecocks as this may be our last Football season in the South. This is officially one of my newest favorite tanks. On my South Car. bucket list is to go to a Game and get my picture taken with Cocky!!! This picture below was taken after I got home from Charleston (see below) and had just run 12 miles across the Cooper River Bridge. I got a tad bit sunburned, plus side of running I can work on my tan loo. 

*My favorite little red head and I had a play date with my bestie Jenna and her little guy the other night at Chick-fil-a. I simple love this girl to pieces, she almost makes me wanna have one of my own. If only I could 100% guarantee I'd have a girl I might not be so hesitant on taking the plunge right now but since that's not possible I think I'm happy just the two of us and pups for a little longer. 

*The hubbs and I went out to dinner for my besties (Jenna again) birthday dinner a week or two ago and I decided to sport my boots with my Garnets and White Dress. Couldn't of been a better evening. 

*Of course you know I've been running my booty off like crazy, with just over a month left to go till my First ever Full Marathon training is in full force. I did a little weekend getaway 2 weeks ago in Charleston to help a friend and her family during her sisters wedding. So before I headed home I decided I'd run the Cooper River Bridge. Not just once but 3 times totally out to be 12 miles. I'm up to 14 miles total for my long run and I'll be pushing that up this coming weekend. This past weekend I ran my first race since the end of June and I finally beat my 10k time which I was so stoked about. This weekend I have a 16 mile run ahead of me, please pray for me if your the praying type.

*Two weeks ago I took off a day and a half early from work to go to Charleston to spend the weekend with these 4 cuties below. One of my mom's sisters was getting married and they had asked me a couple months ago if I would be willing to come down and help with watching all four kids on Thursday afternoon-evening and then all day Friday and help with bringing them to the wedding and then back to the beach house. They paid for my hotel to come down as well as paid me to help with the kids and we got to hang out on the beach on Friday before the wedding and had a wonderful time. Four kids under 5 was def. a handful at times but I was up for the challenge. From running into the ocean with no fear to jumping from one bed to the other and search through 5 bathroom trash cans for toilet paper rolls to make telescopes we had a blast. I'd do it again in a heart beat. Kids say the craziest things and these little guys didn't hold back at all. Do the boys not look adorable in their wedding attire below? 

Just a little recap of what's been going on here. The hubbs is back to work they picked up a new cycle about 4 weeks ago so we are half way through this cycle almost. Graduation day is Halloween which means my race is only a week and a half after that. YIKES!!!!! I still can't believe that next week we will be in October, talk about crazy!!! 

Just Keep Going.....Just Keep Going.....

Friday evening closed out my running for the week. I've pushed myself hard this week and I'm proud of it. Half / Marathon training plus trying out a new work out class, double duty. There's no way I'd be remotely ready come March if it wasn't for this girl!! She keeps me going and helps me push through when I want to quit. Some how she always seem's go give me a swift kick in the butt and all of a sudden I'm full force again. Crazy how a little trash talk will do that to ya!!

The hubbs has CQ and I'm babysitting one of my favorite kiddo's tonight, so I'll be kicking my feet up once she's asleep. I'm completely taking the weekend off to fully recover and get ready for a new week ahead of me. 

Before I go, I'll share with you a little bit of inspiration I've found. One of my cousins introduced me to this awesome website that has tons of motivational pictures and quotes. I try to remember them when I'm running and I feel like I'm going to die but I know I have to make it one more mile.

Life Happens!!!!

We are in full swing effect for Christmas at school. We've done something different on our outside bulletin board. We split it in two and made one side a count down and the other a side to show case the kiddo's art. I have to say the idea in my head sounded great, trying to explain it to my co-worker and bring the idea to life was a little nerv-wracking. But we pulled it off and it looks great.

The hubbs and I celebrated 6 years of being together on the 29th of November. I can't believe its been 6 years since we've been together. 6 years ago he made that random phone call that has changed both of our lives forever. Its been the best 6 years!!! Sometimes it seems like its been a few months and then there's times it seems like its been about 20 years.

This past Saturday the hubbs had to work and I spent the day with this perky little red head. We went to the park and played for a while, it was such a beautiful day out!!! Sometimes......just sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have my own. with.a.90.trial.error.return.policy.though.

Its the Holiday's the season of giving, and I've got to give back to my belly lol. I'm not a huge rice krispie treat fan (I'll eat them, just not a all time fav.) but these were to die for. Peanut butter and M & M's added in to the mix, melt in your mouth delicious!!!!!

This is the first year we've ever gotten a real Christmas tree. Sunday we went to a local (ok 45 minutes away oops.) tree farm, picked it out and cut it down (well the workers cut it down) and brought it home!!! I love it and it smells so fresh and christmasy!!!! I also picked up a poinsettia when I was at the commissary Saturday. They brighten every ones day!

Monday we added some lights, sadly I couldn't decorate because I didn't have any ornament hooks. Tuesday though we got right to it, or I did. Hubby watched and gave his two sense. He does do the honors of putting the star on the top when I'm done. We kept it simple this year with only putting our personalized ornaments and a few other special ones on the tree. We didn't want to take away from the beautiful tree its self. I'm so happy with the way it turned out.

Our little home is decked out from top to bottom, it's definitely Christmas time here. Although with the weather we've been having you'd never know it was winter. However I'm not complaining, I'll take 70+ degrees any day over anything 50 or below!!!! It's shaping up to be a wonderful Holiday Season!!!!

My little family, gosh they have it so hard. It's a ruff life they live being a true American Hero and two lovable cute cuddly puppies.

Picking up the Pace

I'm picking up the pace, adding to the miles, sweating off the calories and working on my fitness....all while tring to get in the best shape of my life.
I never would have though a year & a half ago, I would enjoy running as much as I do. Now though I can't ever picture myself not running. Its such a passion of mine and a great way to stay fit and in shape. Not to mention I'm able to take the pups, most days so it gives them a chance to get out of the house and really stretch their legs. Some times I seem to run better when they are with me, or really it could all just be in my head. Either way I enjoy it and how it makes me feel when I'm done. 

~DAY 346~

 The husband wasn't picking up is phone.....why you say.....because the company was at the live grenade range, practicing / teaching the PVT's how to throw grenades. I really needed his truck that evening (like right after work) so I just took it upon myself to go switch out cars. I'm sure he enjoyed walking out to his truck gone and finding my car there. That will teach him to not answer his phone next time. lol.  

~DAY 347~

 There's nothing better than coming home and running off all the stress and worries from your day. I always feel so much more refreshed afterwards and ready to take on the world. For dinner we tried something new, they were called Pizzadillas. It was pretty much all the pizza toppings tossed inside a tortilla shell and cooked on the burner long enough to melt the cheese. They were pretty tasty!!!

~DAY 348~

I wasn't able to make it to Zumba tonight because I was asked to babysit. I of course said yes, this was for a couple from our company. The wife (S) is helping us out with the pups while I'm away so it worked out great. They had a kid free date night with a free babysitter for the evening and she's going to help take care of the pups. Of course the hubbs will still be here but for half the time he will be in the field going through Vic. Forge with his PVT's and we all know he will have CQ once or twice while I'm away. Any how I was able to get in a quick run around the neighbor hood before they dropped little Z off at the house.

~DAY 349~

 Seriously I have some of the most fabulous parents ever that I baby sit for. I watched little Miss. L Friday evening. Earlier that day her mom texted me telling me that if I wanted to go on a run with L in her jogger stroller she didn't mind. She knew I was coming right from work and wouldn't be able to get my run in before hand. We had so much fun playing at the park lots of laughs and giggles. And I have to say for the first time running with a jogging stroller it really wasn't to bad at all. No worse than running with the pups. lol. 

~DAY 350-~

It's September Already.....

I'm so happy to announce I've finally found a zumba class I can attend on a regular basis. I've been attending different classes around town when my schedule allows but nothing consistent until now. A fellow co-worker is a newly certified zumba instructor and is teaching classes at the school / church were I work. The classes are held on Tuesday & Thursday's at 5:30pm which works out perfect because I get off at 5:00pm. I don't have to leave to go some were else or go home wait a couple hours and get back out. I'm able to get my dance groove on (ps: this white girl can't dance) right after work. It's so much more fun when you know the instructor to, I don't feel so out of place if you know what I mean. We can all laugh and have a good time. It was a bit odd the first couple classes because several of my co-workers are attending, but I got over that for the most part.

~DAY 327~

Today was a Delayed opening day at work, which means we don't start classes till 9am. I still had to be there at 7:30am (my regular scheduled time) because we had a 8:00am staff meeting. Womp Womp Womp. When I got settled in my room I noticed this sitting on my counter (picture below). 

~DAY 328~

My fellow CW that I worked with last fall also opens at 7:30 with me and she stopped and got us breakfast. How sweet is she!!! Totally made my day, ok now if only every week can start on Tuesday, have a delayed opening on Wednesday that included Chick-fil-a breakfast then we will be doing good. "If only right"

Some how we got on the mustard subject on our morning walk. I made the comment how I only like mustard on sandwiches from Schlotzsky's and What-a-burger burgers. I asked K (the girl I work with) if she'd ever eaten there before. I mentioned I was bummed there wasn't one in the South. And that's when she was quick to correct me saying there was. Low and behold it really wasn't that far from were we work maybe 10-12 minutes, give or take. I of course had to make the trip on my lunch break, and it was well worth every bite. 

~DAY 329~

It was a bit sketchy and oddly placed with no drive through so I had to go inside. It was very old and out dated, it didn't look like your average What-a-burger. I don't know that I'll go back often by myself, its just not in the best part of town. But this trip was so worth it. I didn't feel guilty at all devouring every last bite because I knew I'd work it off at zumba later that evening. 

Today was the first home game of the season for the Gamecocks, college football is a big deal here. I was asked by one of the families from my last class to watch their two girls today while they went to the game. Sure not a problem hubbs has CQ so we didn't have any plans, it worked out perfect. Only one problem I wasn't able to sleep in on a Saturday because I had to be there at 9am NINE AM for a NOON kick off game. I wasn't joking when I said College football is a big deal, these people like live for it. I stopped off at Chick-fil-a for some breakfast on my way not thinking it would be busy because it never is on the weekends in the morning. WRONG, the drive through line was packed. I went in and behind me followed a mob of Gamecock fans, I was just glad I was ahead of them. 

The family left shortly after I got there around 9:15 with their coolers loaded down with food and beer. I guess its never to early to party on game day. They said they'd be back around 6:00pm, yup they were planning on having one heck of a party lol. The girls and I did lots of coloring, played out side for hours, had a Mani Pedi session, watched the game and baked & decorated cookies with glitter frosting. I think this was their favorite part of the day. It makes it fun when you have such sweet well mannered kiddos to hang out with. We had a blast, I'm glad I still get to see my little ones even though they've moved up to the next class. 

South Carolina ended up slaughtering East Carolina 48 to 10. Not to bad for the start of the season. 

side note: I am NOT nor will I ever be a USC Gamecock fan. 

On a more sad note, my favorite pair of comfy flip flops broke this evening. I knew they were on their last leg and I've been looking for a new pair to replace them. I just haven't found "that" perfect pair yet. Thankfully I was at home and just walking out to get the mail and not some were else. We've had lots of great times together as you can see they are pretty wore, I'm sad to see them go. :(  I guess tomorrow I've got my work cut out for me on finding a new pair.

Silly Girl!!

I spent a couple hours with this cutie last night. 

Isn't she just a ham, I absolutely love L. I'm going to miss having her in my class come August when school starts again. I'm going to miss all of my kiddos, I've become really close and attached to them. 

Hubby had CQ tonight so after I was down babysitting I took him dinner and we were able to spend a little bit of time together!!! I love getting to visit him while he's on duty!! 

~DAY 267~

Its a Beautiful Saturday!!!

It was a absolutely beautiful day today, which was so nice after the rainy week we've had. The hubbs and I wouldn't be enjoying this lovely day together though so it did kinda put a damper on things. The hubbs was finally taking his Concealed Carry Weapon class that he'd been putting off for forever now. The class was crazy long from 11am - 8pm. This morning I had plans to attend a Zumba class that one of my parents was hosting at her home. She was recently certified to teach zumba and hosted a class at her home for all of her friends to attend. We were her guinea pigs to get her ready for her first "real" class next week. Let me just tell you this girl is a rock star, you never would have know it was her first time teaching. (that is unless she told you) I had a blast busting my booty with about 10 other lovely Southern ladies. 

I spent the afternoon cleaning the house and getting all of our laundry folded and put away. This is all normally done on Sundays which are our more mellow days but I figured I'd knock it all out today since I was home alone and that way I didn't have to worry with it tomorrow. It was so nice out that I opened all the windows in our house and turned up the tunes. Nothing better than a little music to keep your feet moving. Be time I was done the house was sparkling and smelly pretty. The pups enjoyed the warm sunshine as well by laying out in the backyard. I think Bailey could lay out there all day long if she could. We've been watching out Sunflowers grow, I didn't think they would really make it and boy was I wrong they are almost two feet tall now. I can't wait till they start to bloom flowers, the tops are pretty right now though. 

I spent the evening with another one of my kiddos while we parents went out for a bit. Little Ms. L is such a doll and I absolutely love her. I caught myself this evening while I was playing with her thinking "wow I / we could really do this whole parent thing". It's so rewarding seeing her grow and learn different things from me as her teacher I can only imagine how it is for her mom and dad. We read a few books played with her new riding car and cuddled with her Golden (their doogie) before calling it a night aka bed time for L. When her parents came home I chatted with them for a bit before heading home myself. It was another lovely evening getting to know the G family better. I have enjoyed getting to know the parents in my class (more so the ones I babysit for) so much. Its neat to hear their story and were they came from and what they do. In the Army / Military life you see a similar pattern a lot but with these families they are all different. 

The hubbs was kind enough to wait up till I got home so we could go to bed together. 

I absolutely love that man, he's so good to me!!!!!

We try to spend a few hours every Saturday at the range. The hubbs really enjoys shooting and frankly I think its a great out let for him. He is like a kid on a candy high. Last weekend we weren't able to go because of the Special Olympics going on. Sunday he sold one of his guns and bought a new one this past week. So today it was all about his new toy and breaking it in. I have to say I cleared a whole magazine out and it wasn't to bad.

Poor guy got a few battle wounds all along his right arm from the shells extracting out. (he's a lefty & they come out on the right) But he's a tough guy and it didn't seem to bother him at all.

After our adventure at the range we headed home to clean up a bit before heading out to lunch. We are growing to enjoy the city and the local shops and restaurants here around us. Working were I do I've been able to learn a lot about the South from my Co Workers & Parents. They've introduced me to several new places that we probably would have never found if it weren't for them. For lunch I picked a quaint little hole in the wall joint that I'd been to once before. It was a first for the hubbs, he was a little skeptical when we got there because its a Deli in the back of a old gas station / convenience store. I reassured him and he agreed to give it a try. He was pleased and we left with full belly's. I've really enjoyed seeing the difference in life here in the South vs. Hawaii vs. Texas. Its surreal how different things are from state to state.

This evening I had a super cute date!!!! I spent the evening with this adorable little boy. He is one of the kiddos in my class at school. I've watched him a time or two before, his momma and daddy had a date night. We spent the evening reading through loads of books and looking at all the pictures around the house. His quote / famous saying right now is "What's That????" so there is lots of explaining every day. He really is a super cool dude, he will be my only boy this summer along with 4 cute adorable girls.

 

It was a short night I was there at 6:30pm and headed home by 9:30pm not to shabby at all. When I got home the hubbs made us Smore's over the stove. I can't mention enough how much I hate this stupid gas stove BUT tonight I was kinda enjoying it for this very reason right here. I LOVE LOVE Smore's they are so yummy, a melt in your mouth kinda sweet treat!!!! I could have one or more a day but that probably wouldn't be the smartest idea. 

We've had a great day here in the South and I'm glad we are slowly but surly starting to find our groove.

CQ DAYS :(

While the hubby was MIA today thanks to CQ I was a busy bee. I met one of my co-workers at a local park for a bark in the park event with the pups. I was super nervous because this was my first time (by myself) to take the pups to something like this were there would be tons of other dogs. I've mentioned before how Bailey (the brindle dog) is kinda weird around other dogs. I swear she is bipolar and just wants to pick on every dog that passes her. We stayed for about a hour walking around checking out the booths and everything they had to offer. It wasn't so bad with both dogs but not something I would take them to and do all the time by myself. I kept Bailey close to me so she wasn't really able to bully other pups. I can't wait to get her around other dogs again so she will hopefully mellow out. Its drives me crazy though because she was best friends with the spouses' dog Ella in Hawaii. They got along so well and never had any issues, they would wrestle and play all the time. 

Back home for about a hour to finish up some laundry that I had been putting off forever. That has really got to be the one thing that I hate doing. Simply because its so time consuming and boring. I babysat for one of my families from work at 11:30 for a hour. It was pretty simple to since sweet baby S was asleep the whole time. From there I went and picked up the hubby lunch and drop it off to him. It was so nice to see him even if it was just for a couple minutes. I grabbed myself some lunch at Popeyes which is newly opened on post WOOHOO, then back home to finish that darn mound of laundry before I headed out to see a movie. 

I had plans with a few friends (wives) from the unit to go see "The Lucky One" at the post theater. They were showing it today (a week early) for free, which worked out since the hubbs didn't want to see it. Slowly but surely for one reason or another everyone started backing out. I was really looking forward to going especially since I didn't have any other plans till later that evening. I talked to the hubbs and contemplated going by myself, I just felt retarded going alone. I mean really who does that.......Let me tell you....THIS GIRL DOES. I had a date with myself and it was quite enjoyable. I sat towards the back so once the movie was over I could get out and avoid the crowd. I'm so glad I ended up going it was a FABULOUS movie and I'm looking forward to it coming out on DVD soon. I'm such a sucker for love stories / chick flicks but the hubby not so much. 

I was able to stop by and see the hubbs for a bit after the movie before I headed back home. I hate that CQ fell on a Saturday because that means our whole weekend is gone because he will most likely sleep till after noon tomorrow. I already had plans for the evening to babysit so it all kinda worked out for the best I guess you could say. Still I would have loved to hang out on the couch with my love. I didn't mind at all spending the evening with one of the cutest little 18 month old in my class. It was a pretty chill / relaxing evening, G ended up falling asleep in my lap about 30-40 minutes after her parents left so that left the evening for me to hang out and watch a bit of TV. L & T came home around 11:30pm but I didn't end up getting home till 2:45am. T poured L and I a glass of wine and we chatted away for the next 3 hours while sipping on some bubbly. I absolutely love chatting with her its so nice to have some one here to talk to about life, school and everything in between. Before they got home I was so tired and just wanted to get home and in bed but once we started talking we completely lost track of time. T ended up going to bed and we didn't even pay any attention. I guess we were to wrapped up in our girl time. It was definitely a great night and it worked out perfect since the hubbs was gone, as much as it sucked in the beginning when I found out he had CQ this weekend I guess it didn't end up being all that bad after all. I kept myself busy so the time passed quickly!!!

~DAY 184~

I got my baby back

After 3 LONG days late tonight I came home to this sitting on the kitchen counter!!!!!!!!!!!! 

My hubby was HOME!!!!!! 

I knew he was but it didn't really set in till I came through the door. 

Back up a few hours~~~~~ I was asked by one of my parents to babysit tonight and of course I said yes. About 8pm the hubby called and said he was home. YAY!!!!! 

An hour later the parents made their way home, I ended up staying for another 2hrs just chatting. It was so nice to get to know them more, it felt normal like we've known each other for years. 

The clock was ticking away and I finally said my goodbyes & headed home. The hubbs had called to tell me he was heading up to bed because he had to be at work at 8am the next morning. 

I was so excited when I walked in and knew he was home. There's no better feeling then seeing the one you love after days apart & not talking. He is my whole world and being away from him even just for a few days sucks. 

~DAY 155~

FINALLY!!!!!!!!

Wednesday when L (mom) picked up she mentioned she was looking for a occasional sitter & asked if we knew of any teachers at the school that babysat.  My reply ~ "I would absolutely love to watch Gibbes for you." I use to babysit quite a bit in Hawaii, most of our friends in HI were met through first watching their little ones. 
I gave her my number & later that evening she texted asking if I would be able to watch G Friday night.
We spent the evening playing in her little kitchenette set & reading books. She is seriously such a ham.
L & T (dad) got home right around 11pm and I spent the next HOUR just chatting away with them both. After a bit T went to bed, I guess he couldn't hang with us girls.
L is just a few years older than me & T is just a couple years older than my hubbs.
It was so nice to really get to know them better, we talked about so much, L & I loved it. I think if it wasn't so late already we would have stayed up talking for hours. She is such a sweet heart I can't wait to spend more time with her. I've FINALLY met someone that's closer to my age, has the same interests as me, and we have so much in common.
I see many wine date in our future (before they left for the evening, they told me to make myself at home, showing me were the wine & beer stock was lol, no way would I be drinking while watching their little one but it was so funny) I can't wait to get together with L again!!! and watch little Miss G. 

~DAY 134~

OvErWhElMeD!!!!!

This month is just barely half way over with and I don't think I have been this busy in a long time. I have had something going on just about every night since the new year and have something going on pretty much every night for the rest of the month. You always hear people say if you stay busy it will help pass the time. I have done that very well and it does help. I find myself just about every night doing "something" to help the time pass. Not to mention the fact that I work 5 days a week 8 hours of the day, so that in its self takes up a good amount of time.
With my work hours and the time difference between Hawaii & Iraq, I am able to talk to Gabe before I go to work in the mornings and before I go to bed at night. It makes things a little bit easier seeings that I don't really have the ability to always answer my phone at work. Thankfully when I'm working he is sleeping, And when I am sleeping he is working. The timing of things has really worked out as well as the technology that we have through this deployment. So with as busy as I have been I have still been able to talk to my love when ever he is online. (thanks to my lovely high speed celly phone with Internet & my lovely HOT PINK 3G Ipad)

WOW, that was exhausting just going back through it all and seeing whats to come. I love staying so busy & fill blessed that I have some amazing friends to help me do so. Time does not seem to be flying by but it is definitely going by and I'm enjoying it passing right along. I wouldn't at all be mad if it sped up just a bit. I can NOT wait to see what February has in store for me!!!!!!!!!

14 days to go

After sleeping in just a little later today we were up and headed out the door. First stop was the PX to do a bit of shopping.
The Dole Plantation was next on the list of "TO DO'S". Grabbing a bag of roasted pecans to munch on as we walk through the gift shop. ummmm my favorite.
Shortly after we made our way to the airport to pick up a friend who was coming back home. Once back on posted we stopped by the house so my mom could pack up her things and we could head out for some lunch. Chili's it was, I could eat there chips & salsa EVERY day if Gabe would let me. Heck I think he could do the same as well. It was my mom's last day here and so sadly enough after lunch we made our way back to the airport. :( I really enjoyed her visit and I'm happy she was able to come out and see were we live and do some of the things that we love to do. It was great to be able to take a week off work to spend with just her.
Another trip to the car dealership after I dropped her off and then I was on my way home. Stuck in the horrible traffic on the high way and I got a text message from MY LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! It said "I LOVE YOU" I quickly replied with "CALL ME NOW" lol. I didn't wanna text I wanted to talk to him. So he did and we were able to talk for about 2 hours almost, I thought I was in heaven. I had missed hearing his voice so much it hurt. Only a few more days now and he will be heading home, I can't wait.

I have to babysit this evening but don't have to be there till 8PM. You know when they say the time is gonna be that late then its going to be a LONG night. Thankfully I wont have to do anything really because the kiddos will be fast asleep already. So that makes for a nice peaceful evening, were I can rest and relax on the couch.


Thirty Seven days down and only 13 more to go.

20 days to go

Up & out the door by 8:50AM, I was headed to see sweet Kyla dance again this morning. After visiting with her and her mom for a few I met up with Crystal to get tickets for the luau we are going to next week. :) I'm so excited that her and her family are going with us. Its going to be so much fun.

I spent the rest of the day cleaning the house and getting things ready for the evening. Two of my sweet girls were coming over to hang out for a bit while their mommies went to a get together. I love the way my house smells when It's all nice, pretty and clean. With the blinds open and candles lit just makes everything so sweet and fresh.

Maui Mikes for dinner hit the spot, and then R. & V. were out the door. It was just the girls and me so we decided to take a walk around the track. Some much needed outside time was nice. It was a bit chilly but not to bad at all.
After they went home I went over to Crystals house to visit with her and catch up on their day. It was a some what eventful day for many different reasons. I'm just glad it's over with and I'm that much closer to Gabe being home.

Our weekend pre~view & next

The weekend started right around noon today, I was so happy to get off early and get home to my love. He as well got off at noon today. It was a great day at the Gabriel house :) We managed to get the house clean and the yard done, the laundry caught up (I hate doing laundry, its so time consuming) and a bite for lunch. 2:45 rolled around and I headed out the door to go babysit. Thankfully I was just going right down the street from our house so it wasn't to far at all for when it was time for me to go home. The couple I'm sitting for headed downtown to Waikiki & aren't set to be back till well after midnight. Thank heavens for sweet little angels, the girls are adorable and so precious. I had told Gabe since I wasn't going to be home for dinner he could indulge in his favorite "Little Ceasers Pizza". Don't get me wrong I like pizza but not all the time & I think he could have it a couple times a week if I let him. One of his buddies ended up calling him to see if he'd go with him to help him buy a new car, (right up Gabe's alley) so it work out well for the both of us tonight.


Saturday we have plans to take the pups to the dog park in the morning then we have a early lunch date and trip to Target planned. I can't wait I love going to Target, I hate that it's so far away. It's not even that far away but compared to were it was when I was living in Texas it's far. I have plans to babysit again that afternoon (hints the early lunch date) in Kapolei @ 1pm until about 10:00pm. So it will be another late night out.


Sunday morning we are going on our hike up Manoa with our friends Crystal & her family. I have been looking forward to it for a couple weeks now :) and can't wait. We plan to go early enough so we are back to watch the Super Bowl if our heart choose to. We have no real desire to watch it and could careless who wins or loses so it will probably just another Sunday relaxing for us @ home. I am hoping to go see "Dear John" Sunday night but we will see.


Next weekend I already have plans to babysit both Friday night @ 6pm and then again Saturday @ 8pm. Both nights will be super easy, seeings Friday its just for a couple hours and then Saturday the girls will already be asleep before I even get there. You can't beat that. Sunday we have plans to celebrate our very FIRST Valentines day together & I CAN'T wait. I am so excited, we have been together for 3 years now and this is the first time we are in the same place on Valentines Day.
Monday we both have off work as well :) and so we are going to continue our Valentines Celebration, I am like a kid in a candy store and can't wait. I'm so excited & even think I might go out and buy myself a new outfit for our date on Sunday.
