28 days to go

Today was a day worth skipping work for. YEPPERS, you heard me right I called in sick. I needed a much needed ME day and that was just what I got.

The minute I found out about the Drum and Bugle Corps, Silent Drill Team and Color Guard of the United States Marine Corps. I knew it was a must see & I had just the girls to go with S & her mom Rebecca ~ former Marine wife now Army wife :) (her hubbs switch services)
Words can't explain the excitement and chills that I got from the performance. I only wish Gabe could have been there are well to enjoy it with me :(

The Marines Corps Battle Color Detachment is a Ceremonial unit from Marine Barracks Washington, consisting of "The Commandments Own," The United States Marine Drum & Bugle Corps, Marine Corps Silent Drill Team Platoon, and the offical Color Gaurd of the Marine Corps.

The United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon is a 24-man rifle platoon that performs a unique precision drill exhibition. This highly disciplined platoon exemplifies the professionalism associated with the United States Marine Corps.

.............................Fellow Marines watching................................

...........................And Alittle bit of ME..................................

He was from TEXAS woop woop Baby!!!!!! lol He spotted me out by my purse and said I had to befrom Texas. Funny thing my purse had NOTHING that showed Texas on it or anything.

Master Sergeant Kevin Buckles is the Drum Major of "The Commandant's Own," The United States Marine Drum & Bugle Corps. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana & ME~!~

Twenty Three days down and only 27 more to go.

I love & miss you baby so much & can't wait till this is over and you are back home in my arms. Love your Wifey :)

"Me" days are a MUST!! Hopefully no one you work with reads this though :) I guess then you could always tell them you were love sick, and the only thing that could cure it was to see men in uniform...hehe ;)
