It Might not be a Paradise Life...

...but its our life & we are enjoying every moment of it that we can.

If I went to bed a 8pm I'd be up at 5am something to, well thankfully that wasn't me but the hubbs. He's had a long ruff week of school. We're 4 & 1/2 weeks in to this, only 4 & 1/2 to go. When I woke up & came downstairs there was a box of yummy & so sweet Dunkin Donuts sitting on the counter. We indulged into a few and then were off to the gun range for the morning. The hubbs hasn't been in a few weeks because of school so he was really looking forward to going.
After a couple hours of shooting we came home & both ended up falling asleep on the couch. I guess we were both tired and didn't realize it, who knew shooting could tire you out. We finally regained some energy from some were & decided since it had warmed up out that we would take the pups for a stroll walk around post. I still can't get over how excited they get when we pull their leashes down. You would think by now (3 yrs later) they wouldn't go as crazy but I guess not. I love taking them out walking its our little get away from the world. We both leave our phones at home and take our time walking around post.
The rest of the day was spent being lazy, cuddling on the couch and enjoying having nothing to do & no were to be. Sometimes that's just what we need to get through the day. Even with all the changes we've had to endure with moving here and the lack of things to do we have been able to spend alot of quality time together. Not to say that we didn't in Hawaii but here in the South we aren't on the go as much as we were in Hawaii. I'm still not crazy about being stationed here but I'm hoping with time that will change. I know the time we have together will be give & take due to the hubbs assignment but we are going to make the most of it.

Late night dates cuddled on the couch are what I look forward to after a long day.

This was a sweet post... love is a lot of making the best of what we have. I wish I lived a tiny bit closer to Cola & could make SC a sunnier place for y'all! :) I couldn't imagine my home being anywhere else, haha. But...honestly....I hated Columbia when I lived there. Passionately.
